Chapter 32: Raid Start

(I skipped the meeting part and just went to after because that would have just been long and I didn't want to bore you all with something you could just watch and get the same stuff.)

~Kaito POV~

I sat myself down at the lunch table in the cafeteria with Nozomu next to me. We were at the same table as Midoriya, and I could tell he was thinking about something. He was distracted and not eating, I could understand why. This situation is really crazy. "You're not going to eat?" asked Todoroki. Midoriya flinched and started to eat.

"Are you alright?" asked Iida. "You've been acting edgy and depressed ever since you started your work-study." "Oh? Have I really?" There was a silence for a moment until Iida spoke. "We're friends, right? That's what you said to me remember? When we were heading off to our internships, and I was acting like a fool." Suddenly Midoriya started to cry. I smiled and sweatdropped.

"AHHHH! NO OH DEAR!" I gave a soft smile as he spoke. "No, it's ok. It's nothing." He finished his food and wiped his tears. "Heroes aren't supposed to cry." "I dunno. I figure heroes cry when they need to. Don't they?" Todoroki and Iida offered him some food. I couldn't help but smile. "Yeah! Crying is ok, daddy does it sometimes too!" All three of them looked at me.

"Nozomu!" She flinched and looked at me. "Sorry, daddy." I sighed and patted her on her head. "It's fine, but don't do that again." She nodded and went back to eating. "What did she mean?" asked Iida. I sighed and looked up. "Life's been throwing me curve ball after curve ball since I got to U.A." I shoved some food in my mouth and continued.

"Remember when I told you about when Obito disappeared?" They nodded and I sighed. "Well, only Bakugou knows this along with some teachers and Nozomu. But when I got teleported AFO told me he was behind my family's murder. Plus some other things I would rather not talk about." I looked at Midoriya and he understood the last part.

"Oh, I'm sorry. We didn't know." I waved my hands and shook my head. "No no no! There's no way for you to have known. I didn't tell any of you." "Well still! As your friends, we should have noticed!" I was shocked a bit but smiled. "Yeah, they are my friends." I gave them my normal smile again. "Thanks, Iida. That means a lot." He nodded at me then I remembered something. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot."

The three of them looked at me weird. "What did you forget?" asked Todoroki. "When I went flying into the building I saw some people hiding. They looked a lot like you guys." They all flinched. "Don't think I forgot about that." I gave them a sinister smile. Then I gave them a quick slap in the face with a hand made out of threads. "We deserve that," said Todoroki looking down. I nodded and sighed. "I appreciate what you did but going alone was a big risk. Even if you didn't get hurt. I don't want to lose anyone else again. Please be careful." They all looked down. "We apologize Izumura. We won't do it again." I nodded. "Good, cause next time you will end up like Mineta." "WAIT, WHAT!?" He looked over with shock and fear. "WHAT DID I DO!?" I gave him a murderous smile. "You looked at Nejire the wrong way when she came to our class. I made a mental note to beat you up but haven't had the time yet. So watch your back~" He paled and ran away. "D-did you mean that Kaito?" I saw Midoriya and he was shaking, so were Iida and Todoroki. "When do I not mean it~" All three of them paled and went back to eating their food.

~Time Skip, Days Later~

"HUH! You mean they're keeping this Eri girl in their stronghold!?" Said Rock Lock. "And by stronghold you mean," "The headquarters of the Haisaiki. The young heads residence." Rock Lock huffed. "So you mean that all the time we spent investigating was for nothing then?" "Not at all. We gained plenty of new information as well." "How did you confirm she was there?" I sweatdropped when Sir pulled out a Glitter squad box. "A member of the Haisakai went into a nearby department store the other day, and bought a toy favored by young girls." I nodded as the conversation continued.
