Chapter 28: The Rematch

~Kaito POV~

I sighed and looked at Mineta and saw that he was checking out Nejire. "Note to self. Beat up Mineta later." I sighed and listened as my classmates talked about the three. "All right. Introduce your selves. Let's start with Amajiki." Suddenly I saw Amajiki give off an intense stare that made me feel uncomfortable. 

"I-It's no good. You two go, I just can't. Even if I try to imagine them like potatoes, I can see their human bodies. I know that their still people. No words are coming out. My minds blank, and my mouth is dry. I can't say anything. I... wanna go home." I sighed. "Same old Tamaki."

I heard Nejire laugh. "Come on Amajiki. You have to have the heart of a lion, not a kitten, even though you're human." She turned to face the class. "This is our kitten Tamaki Amajiki. I'm Nejire Hado. We're supposed to talk about work-studies. You first-years have a really exciting time ahead of you." I sweatdropped knowing where she was about to do and not to my surprise she started asking all kinds of questions.

I sighed as she finished and Mirio started to talk. "The futures gonna be!?" No one responded. "Awful. That was your part, my call and response was a total fail!" I sweatdropped as he laughed. "OK. You guys look like you have no idea what's going on. Guess we are Thrid-Years who just showed up in your class to explain a program that's completely voluntary. I see how you can be confused by that." As he thought I had my own. "Why do I feel like a bad idea is about to happen?"

"You guys got your provisional licenses as first years right? This new batch of students has proven to be pretty darn energetic. So the problem is. You must not have a sense of humor and that's why my joke didn't hit." "Oh no." "HEADS UP. THE RAD NEW PLAN IS ALL YOU FIRST YEARS FIGHT ME AT ONCE!"

I quickly stood up. "MIRIO THIS IS A BAD IDEA!" Everyone in the class looked at me. "OH. Hey Kaito. I forgot you were in this class." I sighed. "Yes, now I really don't think they could handle you going against them. I may have been able to but they won't." "HEY! Give us some credit Izumura. We've gone up against legit villains. Don't count us out yet." I looked at Kirishima and sighed. "Fine, but don't come crying to me when you lose." 

"Hey, Izumura?" I looked over at Tsuyu. "Yeah?" "Do you know them?" It was then it clicked for me. "Oh yeah. I guess I never did tell you. I interned with Mirio a while ago. I also met Amajiki and Nejire not too long ago." I gave a nervous laugh.

~Time Skip~

I sighed as I saw Mirio got ready to face my class. I walked over to Nejire as Mirio started to fight them. "So how have you been Nejire?" She looked at me with a smile. "I've been good. Mirio went and talked to the problem child a while ago and scared him a lot." I sweatdropped. "So that's why he was so shocked." I sighed and thought for a minute. "Hey Nejire~" I had a smile on my face. "Do you think Mirio would be up for a rematch?" I had a creepy smile. "Are you sure that's a good idea. I mean sure you beat him last time, but you don't have the power you had before. Plus if you guys fought, Mirio would be pantsless the entire time. I don't think they would want to see that." I sighed. "I mean, yeah. You think they would let him get his hero pants on?" I saw her think for a minute.

"I don't see why they wouldn't. I think it would actually help them. Are you sure that you're ready to fight again?" I nodded. "I've always recovered faster than most. I've been fine for a few days now." She nodded. "Well then, I'll talk to Eraserhead and see if we can arrange this little rematch." She gave me a big smile then walked off.

I looked down and thought. "Now that I know about what I am, I also know why I have a better healing factor. I wonder how my life will change from now on." I sighed and looked up. "Kinda like Kaitos quirk." I looked over and saw Mirio talking to my class. "What's going on?" "We were talking about how I had to train and make my quirk powerful. Based on what you told me you also had to do a lot of training to get to where you are." I nodded and walked over. "I guess you want me to explain it a bit more." Mirio nodded. I sighed and walked next to him.
