Chapter 29: Faculty Meeting

~3rd Person~

"Now that we have decided on the work-studies for the first-years shall we go to the next thing?" asked Nezu as he set aside some papers. The teachers nodded. The faculty in the meeting included: All Might, Midnight, Eraserhead, Present Mic, Ectoplasm, Cementoss, Snipe, Power Loader, Vlad King, and Thirteen.

"I would like to start this off if you wouldn't mind," said Eraserhead. Nezu nodded and Aizawa stood up. "I think it's time I share with all of you what I have gathered on Kaito Izumura. I know that this is very irrational but please listen." He coughed and grabbed some papers. "Kaito Izumura is a first-year in my class. He recently lost control of his quirk and went on a rampage injuring Mirio Togata and some of the staff as well before being stopped by All Might." "I've been meaning to ask. Why did you just let him go? He needs to be punished," stated Midnight.

Aizawa sighed. "I realize that but his 'situation' is a very complicated thing. He nor anyone else knows the full truth about what may be going on with him to make him go on a rampage. I do know that he would never do it on purpose and my guess is that it has to do with his situation." "Do you care to explain what his 'situation' is?" asked Nezu. Aizawa nodded.

"Recently Izumura has started to have 'visions' of his presumed past if you will. In these visions he hears a deep voice and sees medical and scientific machines everywhere, he is also inside a large tube from what he has said. He doesn't know why these have randomly started to happen but it did start not long after he lost his split personality, Obito." "Why would he be having those kinds of dreams and why would they be about his past? He has never shown any signs of being in a medical lab because of a disease or something," Said Thirteen.

"That's where it gets irrational. From the information that was gathered from AFO by Izumura, it all lines up one way or another with what I had originally thought. What I'm saying is that the student we know as Kaito Izumura is actually an artificially created from his 'originals' body. He was created by AFO but was rescued by a man that according to AFO no one knows who he actually is." The entire room was silent for a couple of minutes.

"You mean to tell us that one of our students isn't actually who they say, look, and think they are. They are just an experiment created by the biggest villain to ever live," stated Ectoplasm. Aizawa nodded, "From my own research I found out that the original Kaito Izumura was actually killed in a villain attack twenty years ago. Based on that and the age of our Izumura, I have to assume that he was rescued only seven or eight years ago." The entire room was shocked.

"This is very troubling," said Nezu but this time he didn't have his normal smile. "Do you have any idea about any of this Principal?" asked Snipe. "I believe I may. From what we know these visions all started after he lost his split personality. It may be that when he was rescued 'Obito' was put in as a safeguard to restrain those memories and keep him from going on a rampage like he did not long ago. Now that this anchor is gone he will most likely start to have more visions and he will also start to experience some type of control loss when he gets to riled up. I say that we keep an eye on him and also not let him use any modes for the time being. This includes if he does a work-study. Until we know what is going on we can't have him using to much power." The staff nodded.

~Time skip, Kaito POV~

I was walking to the third-year dorms to apologize to Mirio. I knocked on the 3-A dorms and waited for someone to answer. When the door opened I saw Nejire. "Hi, Nejire. Do you know where Mirio is?" I could tell she was mad at me. "I know that he may not want to see me and you and Amajiki probably don't either, but not being able to tell him and explain what happened is killing me. I know I don't deserve his forgiveness or yours but I want to at least try." I heard a sigh.
