Chapter 21: Enemy of The Dead

Kaito POV

Time for the test of courage. I crouched down and looked at Nozomu. "Hey, sweetie. Do you mind staying with Aizawa during this?" Nozomu looked at me with confusion. "Is something wrong?" I shook my head. "Probably not, I just have a gut feeling that something might happen." Nozomu looked down and around but then looked back at me and nodded. "Ok, I'll go with Zawa." I smiled and patted her head. "Good."

~15 minutes later~

I was sitting down on the ground as Uraraka and Tsuyu were called to go next. I was teamed up with Mido and we were going to go last. "Hey, Mido. I have a question." "Yeah, what's up Kaito?" I sighed. "Do you ever have a feeling like something is going to go wrong and it gets worse over time?" It took him a minute to answer. "I can't say I have. Why? Do you have one of those feelings right now?" I nodded.

"I know it's probably nothing but... I just can't shake the feeling something bad is about to happen." I sighed and stood up but I noticed something in the air. I sniffed and recognized the smell. "Fire." I looked at Mido and it seemed as if he noticed as well. I ran over to Mandalay. "MANDALAY, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!" 

She looked at me with confusion but I pointed into the forest and she finally noticed the giant blue flames as well. Suddenly Pixie-Bob was surrounded in pink light and flew into the forest. I saw two figures start walking out and knew what was going on. "EVERYONE! BE ON GUARD, WE GOT VILLAINS!" I started to run forward but was stopped by Tiger and Mandalay.

"Dammit, what can I do. Most of our class is the forest and they don't know whats going on. Dammit. I hope they're all right." "Everyone, go back to the main building. Class rep you're in charge." I looked back and everyone nodded except Mido. "Mandalay! I know where Kota is!" Right after that, I saw Mido runoff.

I gave a nervous smile and I whispered one word. "Reaper." My threads surrounded me and I held out my hand and my sword started to form. After a few seconds, the threads dissipated and left me in my Reaper Mode. "MANDALAY!" I started to run forward and jumped over both Mandalay, Tiger, and the villains. "I'M GOING TO SEE IF I CAN HELP ANY OF CLASS 1-A OR 1-B" I saw Mandalay give me a nervous nod as I entered the forest and lost sight of them. I started to run at full speed with a hand on the handle of my sword. "I have no idea what abilities I gain in this mode but like my family used to say." I looked up and saw an opening in the forest top. I smiled and jumped more than five times what I normally could and stood on top of a tree. "I'm a fast learner."

I looked around from my vantage point to see what was going on. "It looks like the forest has been split around the camp. In one area there's a dense fog, in another are those blue flames, finally, there's a clean area where my guess most of the villains are and so are my classmates." I started jumping from treetop to treetop as fast as I could. I looked around for any of my friends but suddenly the tree I was on fell over and I fell to the ground right on my ass.

"Dammit. What the hell happened?" I looked around and when my eyes found the broken tree stump I stood up in disbelief. Slowly I started to back up as I looked at what knocked over the tree. "Well now. I didn't think you would be this easy to find. Good to meet you. I'm Hammerhead." I looked with wide eyes at a ten-foot-tall man with blue skin, and a head that looked like a hammerhead shark. "Why did it have to be sharks?"

Suddenly I got a telepath from Mandalay. "In the name of the hero Eraserhead you are allowed to fight the villains. I repeat, use your training." I grinned. "I may be scared shitless of sharks. But your still just a man." "Another thing, we found out that the villains have two targets. A boy named Kacchan and the other is Izumura. Both of you should stay in a group and avoid combat." My eyes widened again. "You guys are after me and Bakugou!?" I saw him smile.
