Your POV

I woke up to the Galarian sunrise slowly climbing in my window. The day before my dad brought me a pokemon partner!

(Flashback)

I heard the door open and I rushed over. "Dad!! You're home!!!" I flung myself into my father's arms. He let out a hearty laugh and set me down.

"Hey, I got a surprise for you." He explained, I couldn't contain my excitement in my tiny body. "Really you do?" I gasped and turned around, "Okay Dad bring out the surprise!" I squealed.

I heard the sound of a Pokeball open and practically turned around right then. "Okay come round, (y/n)." My father gave me the alright. I flipped around at lightning speed and became speechless.

An Eevee!!!! I rushed up to the brown and creme pokemon and hugged it. "Thank you so much, Dad!" I thanked him as the Eevee nuzzled its face in my chest, ' Eevee Vee!' Eevee was my favorite pokemon by far.

"Is it a girl or a boy?" I questioned the taller, (e/c) eyed man. He smiled and ruffled my (h/l), (h/c) hair, "She's a girl Eevee, you know, she's also quite gentle." He answered with both the gender and nature of the pokemon.

I beamed at the evolution pokemon in front of me, "You and I are going to be wonderful friends." I smiled. The beam earned a few 'vees' from her and a squeal.

(End of flashback)

I had finished getting dressed in an (f/c) shirt and blue jean overalls. I went back to my bed and ruffled my Eevee's head fur. 'Vee Eev Eevee.' She complained about her fur getting messed up.

"Oh hush you, we gotta go. I want you to meet someone." I shushed her and went into the kitchen to get a piece of toast. Eevee still hadn't come out yet, so I grabbed a piece of poke food to bribe her.

"Hey, (y/n), your boyfriend is here!" My father snickered as he called, I scrunched up my face at him calling my best friend that. "DAD! HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" I yelled back at the older man and went to the front door.

I opened the door to reveal a taller boy who was my age. The boy smiled and rubbed the back of his neck, messing up his peachy orange hair, a sheepish smile etched in his freckle covered face. "Come on in." I invited, the gesture earned a frantic wave of his hands and a no.

"N-no I can't right now, I just came to pick you up for the endorsement thing." He explained and his Gossefleur jumped off his back and leaped on me. "Okay then let's go!" I grabbed my already packed bag and started to head out when. ..

'EEVEE!!! VEE EVE!!' Eevee ran to me and leaped on my shoulder. "Oh yeah! I can't forget my wonderful Eevee." I was inwardly disappointed I forgot my pokemon partner. I smoothed the ruffled fur on Eevee's back and gave my friend his Glossefleur.

"Hey dad, me and Milo are going to the endorsement thing, see you!" I called also not remembering what it was called. My dad rushed out and caught me in a hug.

"Hey you dummy, thought you could leave for your journey without giving me a hug?" He said, pulling away while keeping his hands on my shoulders. "You beat that Champion for your mom and me, got it?" He smiled. "And you two keep my daughter safe," he leaned in to whisper something to Milo and pulled away, " good luck you guys." He waved goodbye to me and a Milo who was redder than a Sizzlepede's scales.

"What did my dad say?" I asked the extremely flushed Milo, putting my hands behind my head. ' Gosse fleur fleur', Gossefleur snickered in its language as it starts talking to Eevee.

"Oh shut it, Gossefleur!" He got even more flushed at his pokemon's teasing. "He just said something about keeping you safe..." The young farmer mumbled, trying not to look like a human Sizzlepede.

I giggled, "Yeah right! I doubt him saying, 'Oh Milo if you don't protect my precious (y/n) I will rip your head from your neck.' Would get you as red as a Scorbunny's flame." My giggles turned into a laugh.

"C'mon really, (y/n)!? I thought we were best buds!" He playfully hit my back and joined in the laughing. His flush was gone, sadly, so I couldn't tease him anymore.

"Race ya to the train station!" I called to the pale orange-haired boy as I ran ahead. Eevee was not far behind me, Gossefleur clinging to her tail for dear life. "Hey no fair, you got a head start!" My friend rushed after me.

This was the start of my adventure.

ey my fellows, what'd you think of the chapter? I personally am quite pleased with the character's relationship with Milo. Anyways I might upload another chapter(not for sure) and that's all
