Your POV
"Hey Dad!" I greeted once I saw my father, he was helping the flower shop keeper moved a lot of azaleas. I ran over when I saw the pot shift to the side in his arms, "Careful there, don't want to drop these flowers."
"Yeah, hey shouldn't you be in your way to Circhester? Also where's my future son in law?" Dad asked, I grumbled at his nickname for Milo and Togepi mimicked my sound. Glaceon spoke up and Dad realized I had two pokemon with me. "Look at you, when did Glaceon evolve and you caught a Togepi?" I told him both stories and then the reason I was here, "I see, well let's get home real quick and you can say your farewells."
"Sure thing, c'mon Togepi time to get going." I called Togepi over, Glaceon leaping to my shoulders and Togepi being scooped up.
One short trip home
"Hey, it's alright Cherubi. I'll be back in maybe a week at most, I just don't want you to get sick or freeze in Circhester. In the mean time, Dad will take care of you, okay." I squished the little berry like pokemon in a hug, who was listening calmly to my words and taking it in. 'Cher Cher.' She sang out sadly, but she understood that it was for her wellbeing. "Okay I got to head out, bye Dad and Cherubi." I said and quickly left before I changed my mind, heading to route 5.
'Mom, Togepi pi' Togepi watched my house disappear from view, she was sad we had to leave Cherubi as well. "Yeah, but what if Cherubi got really sick? I would never forgive myself, you're all my family and it hits hard when you get hurt." I explained to the sad pokemon, Glaceon speaking also. 'Gepi Toge!' "What's that? Yeah I think Cherubi would be proud if you did that." I smiled at my 'child', then running into someone.
"Huh?" I know that voice, I know it very well.
"Arin!" I looked up at the gym leader, a huge grin overtaking my mouth. "What's it been 5, 6 gym battles ago?" I was really happy to see the gym leader, if only Milo were here. 'Ahh Ah, Toge to.' The young pokemon in my arms tried to say his name, but gave up and settled with babbling in attempt to copy me.
"Yo, (y/n). What's up? Where's that boy, the one who follows you like a lost Yamper?" He pretended to not know his name, I flushed at his choice of description. "Oh so you do like him now?"
"W-what! N-no! I'm not a little kid anymore, why do you still do that?" I got annoyed and let that overtake my embarrassment. Glaceon was cracking up at my sudden flush and the annoyance I used to cover it up, Togepi looked angry and was babbling loudly at her saying Mom every now and again.
"I'm just messing with ya, (y/n). But really, why are you here?" His voice got serious and again, I told the story which he fully understood being a grass type gym leader. We conversed for a little bit and I said my goodbyes, leaving to route 5 and hoping there were no more stops on the way.
Time Skip
"Milo!!" I shouted, he said he would be here! Now where is he? I looked around everywhere, Glaceon searching too. "We'll find him." I nodded to myself, continuing my search.
After a while I was about ready to give up then, "Hey (y/n), what are you doing?" Yep that voice belonged to just the guy I wanted to find.
"Nothing, just searching for my friend who said he would be on route 5. How bout you?" I gave an annoyed look, which was returned with a sigh .
"Did you think of checking the nursery?" I didn't think of that! I shook my head and looked down, "Don't be like that, I'm here now. I didn't hear you because the walls are so thick."
(Describing a wall reminds of Grant in pokemon xy. Grant is wall man.)
"It's okay, but we need to go. I want to get to Hammerlocke before dark and our train leaves in about ten minutes." I sighed and started back to the train station, Milo in tow.
We made it just in time and rushed on, taking a seat. "So what pokemon did you want to catch?" I asked, fiddling with the ear like fluffs on Glaceon.
"How bout I show you." He smiled and opened a pokeball, revealing an apple. "I wanted to catch an Applin, that's why it took so long." He smiled and the apple pokemon making random noises.
"Woah now I can really say that I've seen a fire breathing apple." I giggled and then it turned to a laugh when Applin huffed and looked away.
"I wouldn't say that, but it is a dragon type. Like Charizard." I gasped at that.
"No, Milo, Charizard isn't a dragon type. You see an apple with a mouth is a dragon type and so is a tiny purple bat. But a dragon look alike pokemon with blue wings and breaths fire isn't, no it's a flying and fire type." I explained, Milo was dumbfounded.
"But it looks just like a dragon, ah never mind. You'll be right in the end, (y/n)." He admitted defeated and called back Applin. "What pokemon do you want to catch?"
"I don't know."
Heh this ending. I wanted to stop it so that's what I did, anyways hope you enjoyed
