Your POV
After waiting the longest time, Raihan fiiinnaaallly finished. I raised an eyebrow at the sight, he was acting like he didn't even raise a finger to win. "Ugh, finally. Not that I'm not enjoying sitting here, I want to get going." I was quite irritable at the moment, I wanted to get on the road and stop sitting in one place. "Cool your Cinderaces, I didn't take that long." The future dragon tamer tried to get out of a bunch of snarky comments, too bad for him I wasn't having any of his bs. "I'm sorry sarcasm just falls from my mouth," I stopped to let him think that was all, he let out a sigh of relief. "Yeah just like stupidity falls from yours." I finished, "Alrighty, time to get going." I rushed out with Eevee, not being able to stand sitting still much longer.
"I know you were irritated but, did you really think that was necessary? Considering how angry Raihan gets, I can't help but worry he'll...." Milo spoke with a voice stitched several times over with worry after he caught up with me, I was stunned at the amount of concern held in just his voice if I was honest. Man, now I feel guilty for making him worry. Why does he have to be concerned about the smallest things when it comes to me? I didn't make eye contact, not wanting to feel even worse about my actions if I saw the distress held in the green orbs. "Yeah yeah, I know how he gets and it's not like I can't do anything about." Milo leaned his head down to see my expression, so I looked at the ground just to avoid making contact with his eyes.
"Why do you bottle certain feelings away?" He was looking straight ahead and keeping an eye on the entrance to the second mine. "Where did that come from?" I was genuinely confuddled but, I was curious why he asked the question. "It just popped in my head. Look, I want to know because I'm worried about you. So please tell me." He pleaded me to answer, feelings like scared, love maybe, or possibly- I stopped my train of thought before I got lost in it, "I just do, I guess it seems like I bottle up certain emotions because I don't show them as much."
Nothing else was said until we made it to the mines, I perked up from the unbearable silence and excitement was shimmering in my (e/c) eyes. "I bet this cave will have loads of different pokemon!" Milo looked a bit taken aback by my sudden outburst but, grinned softly and continued along.
Just as I thought, there were a ton of pokemon I hadn't seen before. I did recognize a few, Chewtle, it's evolved form Drednaw, and a few Brinacle. I was taking in everything and didn't watch where I was going, BAM! "Gahh what the hell!?" I felt a massive pain in my foot, I looked down to see what was causing it.
A Stunfisk! The pokemon had latched onto my foot with it's bear trap like body, "Milo a little help please?" I had a strain filled voice, Milo walked over. "See another reason to worry about you, I'll get it off." He mumbled to first part to himself and knelt down, using the strength he built up from the farm to free my foot from the Stunfisk's cruel grip.
( "Well I did eat my veggies." Milo smiles after he reads the paragraph . "And thank God you did, otherwise reader would be in trouble." I giggled at his comment, "L can I have the mean Stunfisk for my rituals?" I turn around and see Alistar and nod. )
"Okay, now hold steady." He glanced up at me with emotion flooded in his herb green orbs, afterwards he then broke the painful snare and Stunfisk shuffled off to bury itself somewhere else. I practically fell to the ground once I was free, "You should be more careful, (n/n). Can you let me treat any scratches Stunfisk made?" He scolded me, though I knew he wasn't angered, I took off my shoe and stuck out my foot. Milo mumbled about how much I worry him the entire time, "Milo, can you stop for a moment?" He hummed in response, "Why do you stress over me so much?" I gave him an inquisitive look as he returned it with a hesitant one.
"I worry for you because...." He took a breath, " One day you might get hurt or lost and I won't always be there to help you. " the farmer bit his lip and continued his mumbling. He knows me too well, then again, he is the one I always go to for help or.. I chuckled mentally at his response, the boy stood up. "If that's why you're worried, I can be a bit more careful." I smiled slightly and got up after I put my shoe back on.
Time Skip(idk what to put for the mine scenes after this)
We made it to the exit of the mine, I helped my grass loving buddy find a water type. We found him a Chewtle, the little turtle was like a mother to all our other pokemon, she made sure that every one of them got their equal share of food and even Boltund didn't want to cross her.
"That Chewtle is worse than your mom. Though it's cute how she keeps them in line." I watched as Milo's Chewtle scolded Boltund for almost running over Oddish, "I can't disagree with you on that, I wonder if she's close to evolving. Chewtle does know some high level attacks, so it makes me wonder." My friend voiced his inquisition, as we traveled along the path.
"We won't know until she does." I continued watching our pokemon play with each other ahead of us, we let them out so they could stretch their legs. Milo hummed his agreement and said nothing else.
We came to another bridge to get back into Motostoke, "I think we should call back our pokemon now. " Milo spoke after the long silence, calling back his pokemon besides Gossefleur. I nodded and did the same, leaving Eevee on my shoulder.
"We should get a room at the Budewdrop Inn, it's getting late." I looked at the Galarian sunset, admiring the beauty it held in those striking rays of fire casted from the Sun. Soon that beauty was blocked by the brick walls of Motostoke, sighing when it was completely blocked from view.
"There's the Inn, I bet we're early because you ran off before the others." Milo said as we grew closer to our temporary living place. "Maybe, I don't much care if we're early I just want to sleep." I responded, "Also, what's with the excitement? Normally you're the one saying you didn't mind if we were early or late." I playfully elbowed him. " I thought I might as well be the excited one since you aren't doing it. You're slacking on your job. " he elbowed back, I giggled at his response. Though became quiet when we entered the automatic doors of the Inn.
"Okay now what room am I in again?" I asked for probably the 7th time, "How about I just show you, you'll most likely forget it again." He handed me a room key, leading me to a room. "Here, now I'll be just down the hall if you need me." Milo pointed to a room down the hall on the left, I nodded and said goodnight. "Alright guys come on out," I let out the four and set down my belongings, "Sleep wherever you want in here, just don't make a mess." I then flopped over on my bed and got comfortable.
I'm excited for tomorrow, wonder if Kabu will be happy to see us again. I continued my thoughts until sleep pulled me into slumber.
Yay new chapter! Sorry for not posting earlier, had a mini writer's block. Not much else to say so with that
