Hehe I seem to make a lot of these, well I guess it's better than being bored and trying to come up with ideas. Anyway, this is like the scenes in A Day With Kabu except it's our cinnamon rolls (y/n) and Milo working together on the farm. I have also been thinking about linking these to the actual story somehow. Enjoy!
I was staying at my friend's house, as normal, because Dad was out for work again. "C'mon, (y/n)! The hay won't move itself." I heard my friend, funny thing was that even with how young we are, he can manage to roll a haybale with little help.
"Coming!" I ran over to where the haybale we were moving was, "How far is this one going?" I asked, looking up slightly to meet his eyes. The hat I borrowed from Milo's dad slid over my eyes, "Ahh I can't see!!" I shrieked and I heard a laugh, my vision came back and I saw the young farmer smiling at me.
"Just to the edge of the pen, so Dad can bring it to another pasture." He answered and pressed his hands against the golden brown bale of hay, "I don't think I need the help rolling this one. Just help with steering."
"Sure!" I started walking beside the rolling hay, giving directions when needed. I was normally the one who did this job, so I was easily handling it. "WOAH, MILO STOP!!" I screeched as Milo ran the hay into the fence, crashing right through the wood. "Oh man, this is not going to be fun explaining." I shuddered .
"Well at least the Wooloo aren't running off." That was Milo, always finding the best in things even when it seems hopeless. "Now we just have to keep them away from the hole, (y/n)"
"Yeah that's fun! Besides I prefer the Wooloo over a reckless haybale any day." I giggled and looked around for the nearest flock of the puffy, white clouds.
"You can't fall asleep on the Wooloo again, (n/n)." Milo followed me in my search for the amazing Wooloo. I nodded and dashed off, seeing the giant flock of Wooloo.
"FLUFFY CLOUDS HERE I COME!!" I could probably be heard from my house but, I didn't care there were Wooloo and they are always something to get excited about. The Wooloo all 'Behhhhh' and trotted to us.
I flopped over on the grass and got smothered in the Wooloo's wool. "SVTCNDHJDNNAFHADDNIT!! Milo, a little help!" I called through the soft yet deadly wool, when right at that moment I felt my hand get pulled out of the sea of white. "Hey what do you know! It's farmer boy!" I giggled.
" I can't let my closest friend get suffocated in my Wooloo, now can I? Besides it would be too quiet without you around." Milo said and sat back down, me sitting next to him with a tiny Wooloo in my lap.
Now I was helping Milo in his garden, I was carrying a watering can filled to the brim. "I got the water!!" I shakily passed the heavy can to the peach haired boy, who sweatdropped when he saw how much water I put in it.
"I didn't need this much water, but now it's saved us from an extra trip to fill up the watering can." His sweet voice sounded and I sat down beside him.
"What are you growing now?" I studied the refilled hole in the ground, "Are they sunflowers?" I questioned and looked back to Milo.
"Yes, actually. How'd you know?" He asked, a little confused. I pointed to the wheelbarrow with sunflower seeds in it, "I guess that does help."
"Yup! But why sunflowers?" I pressed, Milo looked at the ground and flushed slightly.
"Because they remind me of someone, that is why. They remind me of someone who brings a little light into even the darkest of people." He answered with a smile and flush.
"Really, who? Do you have a special someone already?" I was extremely curious to know who the was talking about.
"Nobody, (y/n). "
The next thing I knew, I was out into darkness again.
That's all for the chapter! Hope you liked it!
