THE OCEAN OF YOU

The ocean never looked so deep,
The ocean never felt so cold.
It never looked so inviting,
So I took a dip and let the waves of pain and sorrow drown me.
I fell deep and down,
I touched the surface with my bare fingertips and resurfaced,
Only to let you push me in again.
I look in your eyes and see that ocean through the pain,
I feel myself drowning again.
