Everyone stared st me in shocked silence.
"Awesome!" Macao said breaking the silence. Everyone erupted into joyful chaos. I stared at them, speechless and confused.
"Wow! Really?!" Natsu said suddenly appearing next to me making me jump again. "I'm a dragon slayer too!" He smiled at me. "Wait were you raised by a dragon?" he asked and I nodded. "do you know a dragon named Igneel?"
"I don't think Hydroxia has ever mentioned an Igneel before." I tell him shyly.
"Well maybe she knows him. Where is she? She might be able to help me find igneel." Natsu says looking at me through hopeful eyes.
I look down at the floor again. "I don't know where she is. She disappeared last year and I haven't seen any sign of her since." I bring my hands to my mouth. I didn't mean to tell him everything.
"Last year?" Lisanna joined the conversation. "Didn't you say your dragon disappeared last year natsu?"
"Are you still going on about that dragon natsu?" Grey says tauntingly.
Lisanna hit him on the back of his head. "Be nice grey! I believe in Natsu. If he says Igneel is real then I think he's real too." She scolds grey also preventing a fight between the two eccentric boys.
When it seemed like they were both going to snap at each other I jumped in "What kind of dragon was it?" I asked
"A lame one" Grey said under his breath earning another smack from lisanna
"What did you say frost breath!" Natsu yelled at him
"You heard me flame brain." he said right back at him
"Grey your clothes" the brunette who I learned was Cana.
Grey looked down. Even I hadn't notice the boy was wearing nothing but his underwear until now. "What?! Gah why does this keep happening!" He said and everyone in the guild started laughing.
"Ha! Who's lame now!" Natsu laughed only to be met by Grey's fist. The two started fighting.
"Umm shouldn't someone stop them?" I asked as the adults just kept laughing.
Lisanna just smiled at me. "Don't worry its always like this"

I have been a part of fairytail for almost a week and I feel like im starting to fit in. Just like with everyone else, Grey and Natsu kept asking to fight me. I'm guessing that they just want to prove their strength. I have been able to avoid it so far with the help of Cana and erza.
"Come on just leave her alone!" they would say. or "She just joined the guild. Don't you think she should get used to the guild's craziness before you add more crazy to the mix?" or they would just call me over.
Although today, it won't work.
I was sitting alone behind the guildhall, looking out at the big lake when...
"Hey Y/N!" A voice called to me and I turn to face the new person. It was Natsu. "I challenge you to a fight!"
"Huh!? Now!?" I say.
"Yeah of corse now." he said and he launched himself at me. I was surprised by his quick movement and just on instinct, I dodged his attack. The momentum of his punch caused him to tumble down the hill, startling the flock of birds I had been watching.
He didn't stop rolling down the hill and I watched him fall into the lake with a splash. I covered my mouth to muffle my laughter. He was soaked!
"Hey stop laughing!" He yelled at me but I continued to laugh and Natsu let out a growl. "Ha you won't be laughing for long! Fire dragon iron fist" He shouted as he ran at me again. This time, he used his magic, making his fist be engulfed in flames.
The people from inside the guild had began to come out and watch.
I dodged his fist again, this time, doing the same as I did with roba. I put my foot out and pushed him down.
"Ha natsu you're being beat by the knew girl" I heard Mirajane call out from the crowd.
"As if!" He calls right back at her "Fire dragon roar!" a jet of fire comes from his mouth aimed straight at me. I didn't have time to dodge so...
"Water dragon roar" I shot a similar spell at him but instead of fire it was water. that seemed to catch him off guard and he stopped his breath attack causing mine to push him back. "Oops sorry!" I called to him
When I could finally see him through the steam that was made, he was smiling. "Wow you're a really good fighter!"

Its been a few days since then and I am looking at the job request board because I don't have any money. I had just been hunting for food and I hadn't found a place to stay yet. not that it mattered, I was used to living out in the forest. I didn't even like sleeping in the bed back at atsume's house, even when atsume told me multiple times it was ok, I still refused.
"Any jobs you're thinking of taking on?" Someone asks me. I look over and see Erza.
"Kinda" I reply giving her a friendly smile. "I just need a little bit of money. I defiantly need some new clothes"
She gives me a questioning look. "Well you're going to need a lot more than that. Especially if you're going to pay rent for wherever you're staying." She says looking at the flyer I have in my hands. It says that if you do that job, you'll get 100 jewel. "I haven't seen a place that is any lower than 500 jewel."
for people who don't know, jewel is the currency in the kingdom fiore. I don't know for sure but I think its the same in Alvarez.
"Um ya I was just planning on doing a few small jobs." I told her. I didn't want her to know that I was just living in the forest.

After chit chatting for a while, I took the job. It was only a small job but when I was done and got my payment, I went into town to buy a couple things.
"I think that suits you miss." The store owner said to me, smiling. I was holding up a simple dress with a small belt.
"I don't know..." I said and looked at the price tag. 50 jewel. I don't know... But I do need some new clothes. I stared at the cost for a bit debating on wether or not to get it.
"I'll help you pay for it Y/N" Someone said to me.
