Chapter Eighteen- The Vulcan + A/N

As the giant monkey charged straight at me, Lucy and Flame. I got ready for whatever was going to happen but then I heard Flame let out a small squeak as she grabbed me and flew out of reach of the Vulcan.

"H-hey Flame what about Lucy?" I said.

Just as I said that Lucy, or rather Horologium, said. "Wait! what about me!' She cries out in startled confusion,"  Horologium quoted.

Flame continued to fly until we got behind Happy and Natsu. As she flew behind natsu, obviously startled out of her fur, she dropped me in front of him, having me fall right on my butt. The Vulcan ran right up to Lucy and smiled a creepy grin through the glass door of Horologium. Then it picked Horologium up with Lucy inside and ran off into the storm.

In the distance, we heard Horologium say, "Help me!' She shouts, and I agree I am not a fighting spirit..." His voice trailed off as the storm washed away the sound of his voice.

We all stared at where they vanished in confused silence. "Umm... What just happened?" I asked still sitting on the ground.

After a while of following Lucy's scent, we eventually came up on an ice cave. 

"So whats the plan?" Flame asked from behind the rock where we were hiding. I already knew Natsu's plan though.

Natsu had a confident grin as his fist combusted competitively. "Isn't it obvious?" He said "We go with-"

"With the old plan T?" I asked with a sigh, cutting him off. "I don't think so, we don't know how many more of those Vulcans are left in there." I said.

"Oh yes we do! I can smell 'em" he said. I was able to smell them too. My sense of smell was always better than his but I was hoping that he would be dumb and forget about that. 

"I was hoping you would forget to think again." I sighed.

"Hey! I can think!"

"Two plus two go!" I said 

He looked confused as he thought for a second. "Three!" he said.

"My point exactly." I said. "Well, we need a plan. What do you think Flame?" I said turning to Flame. "I mean, I think we should sneak in and jump it, but that might put Lucy in danger so..." i trailed off as I started mumbling ideas.

(I kinda think of Izuku from MHA for this part.) 

"Umm Y/N." Flame said trying to get my attention. I just continued mumbling to myself as I started to pace back and forth. "Y/N..." She said. She then let out a sigh. "Oh no look! There's a fire!"

That got my attention. "Huh where?!" I said startled. "Natsu if you blew something up I-" I said cutting myself off "Uhh where's Natsu?" I asked. 

Flame sighed. "Thats what I was trying to tell you. He and Happy ran into the cave while you were having your thinky time." She explained to me. Thinky time is what Flame calls it when I think a little too much.

"Well why didn't you just tell me!" I said as I started to run as quietly as I could, attempting to not slip on the icy floor of the cave. I heard flame sigh again as she started to follow me.

"Natsu! Happy? Lucy!" I whisper yelled. 

Then I heard Horologium's voice. "I'm sorry Lady Lucy but I'm afraid I'm going to have to leave now because my time is up."

"Huh?!?" She said "Wait! Come back! Please! I want an extension on our time."

I then saw Natsu. I couldn't see Happy anywhere but I could tell he was close by. Either way natsu was the main thing that could get Lucy in even more danger. Sliding on the ice, tried to run as fast as I could to stop him from whatever he was trying, but it was too late.
