"I'll help you pay for it Y/N" I turned around to see elfman. I saw lisanna and Mirajane standing behind him.
"C'mon elfman if she can't pay for it herself then she shouldn't even be getting it." Mirajane said giving me a sly smirk.
"Oh be nice Mira!" Lisanna scolded her older sister.
"Oh no its fine you don't have to." I told them. "I can pay for it. I just don't know if I'll have enough for..." my voice trailed off as I looked to the art set I was planning on getting as well. elfman followed my gaze and picked up the kit.
"Well I was planning on buying an some art supplies myself." He told me
"You were?" Mirajane and Lisanna said at the same time.
"Since when were you an artist?" Mirajane said giving her brother a skeptical look.
"Its not for me, its for Reedus." Elfman scratched the back of his head with a nervous smile.
————————————
I bought the things I wanted with help from Elfman. Mirajane complained a little but eventually agreed to helping me.
"You really need to take more jobs." Mirajane snickered at me as we walked out of the marketplace. Lisanna gave her a small hit on the arm.
I waved goodbye, ignoring mirajane's comment and started to walk away to my temporary home.
"Wait Y/N!" Lisanna called to me and I turned to face her. "We should walk you home. Shouldn't we?" she said and looked up at her brother who nodded.
"Ya Lisanna's right. It's dangerous to walk home by yourself at night." he stated agreeing with Lisanna.
"Oh no I'm fine walking by myself." I said putting my hands up with a nervous smile. I didn't want them to know my current living conditions, as I was literally living in a tree.
"No we insist." Elfman replied.
I was about to deny again but Lisanna spoke before I could. "Oh c'mon Y/N. Plus, then we could finally see your place." she said joyfully.
Knowing I couldn't win in this, I let them walk me home. As we turned down the street, I saw mirajane give her siblings a confused look but I ignored it.
Lisanna sped up to walk with me. "Hey are you sure we're going the right way?" she asked. "I don't remember there being anything but stores this way."
"Don't worry this is the right way" I assured her.
We continued walking when we reached the edge of the forest. They all looked full of questions but didn't say anything. I followed the markers I left for me to follow
"And here we are" I said motioning to a big tree. The bottom was hollowed out and at the top, the branches spread outing made a platform like structure.
Mirajane looked speechless from awe and Lisanna had a bright, yet confused look in her eyes. "You- You like here?" she asked and I nodded. I couldn't tell what she thought about it but then a smile spread across her face "Wow this is so cool! Natsu is defiantly going to be jealous."
I stared at her confused. I was confused about why she looked so happy and excited.
"Umm could you not tell the others..." I said quietly looking down at the grassy floor beneath me. I fidgeted nervously as they gazed up at my home.
"Why wouldn't you want us to tell them?" mirajane asked "Seriously this is so cool. You live in a treehouse." I looked at her once again confused. "Plus then you don't have to be bothered by everyone making so. Much. Noise!" She said looking at Elfman and Lisanna with a slight glare.
"What? Is not my fault my parakeet needs food in the morning!" He said back at his sister. The two began to argue about the parakeet and Lisanna walked over to me. She had been standing in between her two older siblings.
Lisanna sighed "It's always the parakeet..." she said quietly.

Eventually everyone found out about my "treehouse" as mirajane called it. Although I didn't want lisanna and mirajane telling people, I told them myself. Its been a few months now and I'm fitting in at fairytail pretty well in my opinion. Erza and I always hang out and go on jobs together. When I'm not with Erza, I usually hang out with Natsu and Lisanna.
"Erza!" Natsu says confidently to the red head next to me. "I want a rematch!" He has been trying to beat erza in a fight for a while but always ends up loosing.
"Really?" erza sighs "Now?" she said. She had just gotten back from a solo job and seemed kind of tired.
"Natsu I think erza should rest first." I tell him. Lisanna and Cana both nod in agreement.
"Nope we're fighting right now!" He says as his fists combust showing that he is ready.
We all sigh knowing we can't change his mind.
Erza puts down her bag and walks over to natsu. "Fine but im just warning you, if you get hurt-"
"Blah, blah, blah. C'mon lets just fight already"
And with that the fight began. Natsu went for the first punch, which was a mistake for him. Erza blocked and returned the punch sending him flying. From the dust a flash of pink went by as his scaly scarf came off. We couldn't see anything else due to the dust that had been picked up, but next thing we knew natsu was on the floor.
"There." erza said, dusting herself off. "Now can I have some time to rest before our next rematch?" She asked as she helped Natsu up.
"Wow I really thought you were gonna beat her this time natsu." Grey said sarcastically from behind me. I jumped being surprised.
When did he get here? I thought. He wasn't even in the guild hall last time I checked. Either way Natsu, of course snapped back at him
"Oh ya? Well I bet she'd beat you faster than she beat me!" natsu retaliated
"Oh really?" grey replied.
"Grey your clothes" Cana told him and he looked down.
Just like always, everyone laughed. I've gotten used to the craziness of the guild. Everyone was laughing, talking, and eating together. I understand why master had said fairytail was a family.
I'm glad I found fairytail. I thought smiling I finally have a family again.
