"I was looking for you" Yrion said in your language with a smile when he reached you both.

You stood in silence and he changed his expression.

"What? What happened?"

Taka looked back at you and decided to leave you two alone.

"No, please! Stay and listen!" you begged him.

He turned around and after you had gathered all the courage you had left in your body, you explained Yrion the whole situation step by step, begging him to understand and forgive you for all the pain you caused. Meanwhile, Taka remained silent and waiting for the conversation to end. Finally, you stopped talking and Yrion looked at him and back at you.

"I see..." he said in Eastern language, after which he chuckled "I'm a stupid..."

"Please, all the fault is mine. He has nothing to do with this!" you said.

"No..." he replied, changing the language again "It's not his fault neither yours. It's mine. I didn't realized how much time has passed since I last saw you. And obviously, I'm not the same person anymore and so aren't you. I've been very stupid and selfish to think that nothing has changed. And I haven't taken into account your true feelings neither" he softly said as he caressed your wet cheek.

He then turned around and faced Taka, who gulped when he grabbed his arm.

"Protect her" he said in a strong accent "And love her"

"But..."

"Yrion..." you called him.

"We have to protect her" he insisted still holding Taka's arm.

"No, we don't" he chuckled "She knows how to defend herself"

Yrion looked back at you and laughed.

"Great Power" he pronounced as he left the place.

"Great Power, yes" Taka smiled back.

You wiped off your tears when Yrion left Taka and you alone.

"So..." he said as he scratched his neck "What now?"

"I don't know..." you sighed.

He suddenly took something small out of his pocket.

"What's that?"

"Open your hand"

You did so and he placed a small violet gem on your palm.

"I found it when I was very little. I think it brings me luck, that's why I always keep it in my pocket" he smiled.

"But it's yours. Why do you want me to have it?"

"Because I didn't mean it. I didn't mean anything I said before and now I'm trying to apologize"

You stared at the gem, shining on the palm of your hand.

"It's beautiful..."

He closed your fist carefully.

"Then it's yours"

You looked up to meet his dark eyes.

"Forgive me too..." you whispered.

"Done"

He grabbed your waist firmly and pulled you closer until your lips met.
