"I used to be cautious,
A little too reckless.
Now all my emotions
Are all 'cause of you."

Sometimes

Kol groaned, pulling a pillow over his head. A laugh left my lips before I pulled the pillow away from him. He turned his head then to face me. "Do I have to go with you?" He pouted.

"No," I answered. "But I'd like it if you did."

"I'm tired though. You kept me up late."

I snorted, rolling my eyes. "You enjoyed it."

"Still sleepy."

"Come on, please, babe."

"Fine. Only if you shower with me."

"Deal," I giggled, pecking his lips. Then I hopped off the bed. He reluctantly did the same, however at a much slower pace. I went into the en suite to start the shower. We were getting ready to head to my high school to set up for the 80s decade dance that was tonight.

Kol swung our hands as we walked down the halls, heading to the cafeteria. "What do you want to do after the dance?" My boyfriend asked me.

"Sleep," I chuckled.

"But it'll be early."

"We can watch movies," I suggested.

"Nothing girly."

I rolled my eyes, "fine."

He smiled at me and kissed our joined hands. I sighed in content. I was just glad we were back to normal. I hated all the bad and awkward tension. We still had no idea how to solve the situation but at least we weren't fighting.

We both seemed to freeze as we spotted Bonnie right outside the cafeteria on her phone. "No. Dad, it's mine, and I've been doing fine without you getting involved," I heard her say.

I squeezed Kol's hand as we continued to approach her. She turned in our direction just as she was shoving her phone into her pocket, abruptly ending her call it seems. "Lottie," she breathed. Then her eyes moved over and narrowed. "Kol."

"Hi, darling," he smirked devilishly. I squeezed his hand again in warning.

"Um, hey," I mumbled, tugging my boyfriend to walk around her. We weren't friends anymore. And I wasn't in the mood to argue. I wasn't even sure what she was going here. Caroline and I were setting up, we were head of the committee. And my fellow blonde friend never mentioned Bonnie coming to help out.

"Wait!" She shouted. We both turned to look at her. I was bracing myself for ignorant words. "The dance is cancelled."

"What?" I scoffed.

"My dad is reinstating the curfew. Therefore the dance is cancelled."

"Just great," I said sarcastically. "Guess no one else knows just yet, huh?" I asked, peeking into the cafeteria where people were still setting up.
