Before each performance of a duo, there were short edited videos about the duo and their preparations for the evening. And just like they used their time together in any other way.

When it was Zhan and my turn, right as the third duo, they showed a video of us rehearsing and how I lent Zhan, as they called it, a consoling shoulder when we saw the dead deer. They showed us cooking and how we asked each other questions and also how Zhan grumbled at the cameraman. Which the audience rewarded with applause.

Then our duet started:

After us the rest followed. Obviously they planned the evening well, because it was not noticed that the other groups were missing. But the producer, or rather the host, Wang Han, gave an explanation. According to them, the groups argued among themselves after it was found out that some of them had chosen the same song. And since there was a fight, the producer decided to send these two groups back home.

But before the evening and the show ended, the voting for the duos was missing. And while they were waiting for the results, Wang Han said that XNINE are still very unknown and that they would like to introduce the group a bit.

So another performance of the whole group followed, except for that member who is still in hospital, and a performance of a part of the group:

And then, Wang Han announced that he has a surprise for Zhan. His good friend Han Mu Bo was here today and would perform a song with him that the two of them once had to perform for another show.

Zhan greeted Han Mu Bo with a long and strong hug and then disappeared with him backstage for several minutes. I was boiling inside of me and I would have loved to run backstage to see what the two of them were doing.

And then the host announced that the two had changed their clothes and were ready for their performance. They came on stage, sat down on a chair, the lights were dimmed and the music started:

I know I should trust Zhan, but maybe I shouldn't have forgotten about MuMu and just asked Zhan what connects the two of them. Right now I only feel anger inside me and raging jealousy.

Hadn't the studio done everything so far to make Zhan and me stand out? Why did they have to do that now?

After the song of the two, there was another ten minute break, the last one before the results for the duos are announced. And another ten minutes of shaking, waiting and hoping.
