Klaire's POV:
Birds chirped, the wind howled, the sun was bright. All things to which I loved, my parents were there, all was good. In my dream that was, but the harsh realisation of the real world came crashing down as soon as I opened my eyes to the ceiling above me. To the left was dipped, signalling that Jasper kept his promise and was here as I woke up.
I turn to him, except it wasn't him, it was Oscar. I closed my eyes and turned my head back around, it was already a bad way start to the day. His eyes land on me then, "here's the thing, Klaire... this time I'm real and Jasper is... well, why would I tell you?"
I wasn't going to let him get to me and get me to leave this house to kill anybody else, there was no way. "Go away," I mutter and he shrugs and sits up in the bed. "You're not here." I say and rolled away from him so I facing the other way.
"Fine, but you'll never know where he is. Can't believe you'd do that to your mate." He sniggered and was about to leave the room until I stopped him. What if he wasn't lying and I was letting Jasper get hurt? I couldn't have that.
"Where is he?" I asked and sat up, he chuckled lowly and came to sit beside me. I didn't believe him still. He placed a hand on my thigh and I grit my teeth and shoved his hand away. "If you think you can seduce me-"
He cut me off, "the abandoned warehouse off Avenue Drive, be there eight PM sharp." He gave me a sly smile before leaving and I shook my head. Where was Jasper anyway?
I begin to search around the house for him but then only do I realise that Oscar was being real, he wasn't lying at all. I start to panic then, what has Oscar done? Was Jasper okay? How come I hadn't heard anything, it's not like Jasper could have given himself over willingly.
I looked over at the clock and realised that it was three PM, I must've slept for a long time. "Shit," I mutter, and begin to dress into some clothes to go to the place. I needed backup if I was going to do this, but who? Jasper and Zoe were gone and I had no one to help. Or did I?
I picked up the phone and rang Aiden, "hello?" He answered.
"Hi, um, it's Klaire... I need your help. It's Jasper and Zoe, they've been abducted and I know where they are but I need backup." I explained to him and his breath hitches at the information I've given him.
"I'll be right over." He said and I thanked him before we hung up. In the meantime, I grabbed a torch and vervain needles I made for Jasper when he had no humanity.
I heard a knock on the door and went over to see Aiden standing there. He had a few papers with him and I welcomed him in even though I didn't have too.
He walked in and smelt the air, "there's been a werewolf here." He muttered under his breath and grits his teeth with furrowed eyebrows. "I'll kill the damn beast."
"Not before me," I mumble and hand him one of the vervain needles. He looks at me, "well, you never know if there's going to be vampires there. We have to think of all possible outcomes, right?" I say and he nodded. "I know there's a werewolf and a witch involved, that's why I've been hallucinating lately and killed Amelia."
