Xavier's POV:

Once Klaire had fallen asleep on me, I lifted her into my arms and began to walk her to my room, where I place her in the bed carefully and pulled the covers over her in case she got cold. She whined a little bit as I moved away from her and I smile down at her before placing a kiss to her forehead. She smiles in her dream, before rolling over so she was so facing away from me.

Taking a deep breath, I look over to the dream-catcher over on the fireplace and smile once again. I had bought it for Klaire because Jasper had broken the other one, I loved the way her face lit up when I handed it to her. Her green eyes shined towards me and the tree behind her brought out her features.

Jasper growled then, needing to get out and I sighed in annoyance and walked out the room, afraid he'd do someone to Klaire. When we got to his office, I let him take over then and he immediately turns around and punches the wall, his fist going through the plaster and making an obviously hole.

'What the fuck Jasper!?' I yelled at him. He wasn't going to be angry all the time. I had had enough of how he kept denying Klaire and her help. She was trying to help us and I knew that Jasper turning his emotions back on would hurt, but he would get over it.

He growled then, 'no I won't! I won't get over it Xavier, after what happened I'll never get over it!' He yelled at me and I rolled my eyes at him. He stormed back in the room then and I watch as he goes to the safe and grabs out the necklace.

'What are you doing?' I ask him as he begins to walk up to the rooms he hasn't been to in centuries. The walls suddenly become a deep red colour, the colour we used to have them 500 years ago before we modernised everything. It was dark in this old area, before Jasper lit a lantern that I was surprised worked after all these year.

The flickering light of the lantern then lit up the pictures on the wall. My eyes flickered over them as I saw our family, we were all together then, our cousins, aunt and uncles, Zoe and Lucas. My eyes then trailed over the biggest picture by the abandoned fireplace, mum and dad. I hadn't seen their faces physically in centuries. I swallowed hard as we past it and Jasper continued walking to the room at the end of the hallway, purposely not looking at that picture.

'Jasper?' I ask him cautiously as he neared the room. Why was he going in here? This room held way to memories that would easily make him break down if he even looked at them and remembered what they meant to him.

He paused for a moment, a hand on the rusted doorknob, thinking about if this was a good idea. I stayed quiet, not sure what to expect him to do. Why was he here anyways? He hadn't been here for centuries, the last time he had been here was when...

He swung open the door and let it hit the wall. The room was dark, but our eyes adjusted to it immediately and I look around the room. There was a bed to the left side of the wall, an ottoman sitting at the end of the huge bed. The red curtain still sat above the bed and draped along the sides of the bed as I remembered. There was wooden bedside tables either side of the bed, one with a lantern and the other with  a picture frame which had Jasper, Zoe and our parents sitting down in the front yard in front of the fountain.
