Xavier's POV:

I was leading her out of the room and down the set of stairs just outside the bedroom when I saw how in awe Klaire was because of the beauty of this place. I couldn't help but laugh at how her eyes lit up as she glanced over the artworks and sculptures around the house.

She looked over at me in surprise then, curious as to why I was laughing and smiled gently as well. It's something I'd never get over; just how extremely beautiful she really was just made me melt. It made us melt.

"What?" She asked and I looked down at her in happiness. She was finally with me, this is what I have dreamt for for a week. I was just so relieved and so... I couldn't put my finger on the word, but it wasn't anything less than amazing.

"You're literally in awe with everything right now." I said to her, doing the signature 'make a move' move and wrap my arm around her waist when he got down at the end of the stairs. What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic! I was thankful no lords or others were around or it would look slightly suspicious.

We continued walking to the destination I wanted too take her. Seeming we knew everything about her, I knew she loved sunsets and beautiful scenery and that's why I decided to take her to the balcony that overlooked the mansion that I, and a few chosen others, like Zoe and Lucas, lived in.

'Where is he taking me?' She thought as we turned the corner to the final hallway before coming to the open sitting area before the balcony.

I looked down at her and winked, "it's a surprise." When we got to the balcony doors, I opened them and the light burst through the gap. We had tinted windows, even though I was a royal, the sun hurt after a while and there was so many windows in this house that you could never escape the sun.

Jasper was quiet in my head as he watched the sun reflect off Klaire's golden skin and the light shine in her eyes. She was so beautiful that I caught myself staring too.

She looked over at me, 'can he walk in the sun?' She asked herself and her eyebrows furrow a little and I couldn't help but smirk playfully and stand directly in the sun to show her I can. 'Was he mad? Why wasn't he burning? Does it take a while before it kicks in?' She thought once more.

"Perks of being a royal." I said and grabbed her hand and lead her out to the sun as well and she sighed and closed her eyes as the warmth hit her skin and her hand tightened ever-so-slightly around mine.

I took her to the love-seat along the fence of the balcony and we both sat down and we both sat in silent for a moment, perhaps she was enjoying my company? I didn't want to read her mind and invade her privacy that much, but at the same time I wanted too and answer all her questions she had for me.

"So all royals can stay in the sun?" She asked.

I looked down at her and she was looking at the stone ground below our feet. "Well, we can, but it hurts after too long."
