"Are you sure you don't want me to go for you?"
Yoongi asks you warily. You were released from the hospital just yesterday and you're still not feeling your best.
It's also taking a while to get used to this pen and paper thing, but you have no other choice. You've tried using your mind link to communicate but it gives you an excruciating headache.
You shake your head, uncapping your pen with your teeth. I need to be the one to tell him.
Your Beta sighs heavily before nodding. "Alright, let's go."
You throw a scarf over your neck to cover your bruises before heading outside. You attach Mia to your carriage and then you and Yoongi are on your way to the Blood Moon pack.
The ride seems shorter than usual, since you're delivering tragic news. You almost don't want to reach your destination. You sigh as you finally reach the pack grounds, tying Mia up and then heading straight for the pack house.
You take a deep breath before knocking on the door. After a few moments, it swings open to reveal Taehyung. If he's surprised to see you, he hides it well. "Hello, Alpha Y/n. What brings you here?"
He raises an eyebrow as you pull out your pen and notepad and start writing. He looks at Yoongi, who only waits for you patiently. He's aware that you wouldn't appreciate him speaking for you.
Is Hoseok here? It's urgent. You show him the piece of paper.
He reads it over and scans your serious expression. Finally, he nods and moves aside to let you in.
You nod at him gratefully and step into the house. Taehyung takes you to the living room where Hoseok sits, working on what looks like a crossword puzzle. His eyes widen when he sees you and he shakes his head. "I'm not coming back home, Y/n. It's not-"
You hold up a hand, silencing him. Then you begin writing frantically, needing to grab his attention before he can walk away.
Father is dead. In an instant, your brother's expression changes from defiance to horror.
"Y/n, you can't be serious." He shakes his head in disbelief, his voice trembling. "A-and why are you writing? What happened to your voice?"
"Let's leave them alone for a bit." Yoongi says to Taehyung and the two men exit the room.
You sit across from Hoseok and begin to write as fast as you can. Father was drunk and tried to choke me to death. He almost succeeded but Jimin stabbed him and he bled out before they could get him to the hospital.
You try to sum it up in the least amount of words possible. Hoseok's eyes become glossy with tears as he reads the words. He bites his bottom lip, taking a sharp breath to keep his tears at bay.
