Mate: A werewolf's other half, the person they were destined to be with
Alpha: Leader of the pack
Luna: The Alpha's mate, who typically has a calm and nuturing nature
Beta: The Alpha's second in command, basically like a vice president to a president
Omega: Lowest rank in werewolf society, are usually servants in the pack house. They sometimes are mistreated by the rest of the pack (depends on the pack).
Rogue: Wolf who was cast out of their pack for one reason or another
Mind Link: When wolves communicate with one another in their heads. It's most useful in wolf form, but can be used in human form as well.
Shifting: When wolves change from one form to another
Mating Bond: The bond that connects a werewolf to their mate. In order to fully complete the bond, mates must have intercourse and mark each other.
Mark: A werewolf bites their mate in a special spot on their neck to complete the mate bond.
Heat: When a female werewolf meets her mate and waits a long time to complete the mating bond, she will experience her heat. It's a time of extreme arousal and pain that can only be helped by the touch of their mate. It is a way for nature to encourage them to complete the mating bond.
Mating Ceremony: A traditional ceremony that takes place in order to introduce the new Luna to the pack and make their title official.
