Alex
I took a deep breath before standing up and looking at myself in the mirror. My makeup was running, all because of him. I can't even count the number of times this has happened.
I got some toilet paper and began trying to fix it. The door swung open and I saw Grayson standing there from the reflection of the mirror.
"Grayson, you can't be in here," I spoke quietly. He can't just walk in the girl's bathroom like he owns the place.
He walked over to me quickly, so I turned around. His eyes searched my face for something. "Ethan did this, didn't he?" He spoke angrily. I didn't answer his question because the look in his eyes was scaring me.
"I'm surprised you didn't hear it," I responded, he wasn't exactly quiet when he was telling me he didn't love me anymore. Just thinking about it made my voice crack. "That's it," He spoke, turning back around and opening the door.
"Grayson-" I called, raising my voice at him. He didn't turn around, he just walked quickly out of the bathroom. I don't know what he's planning on doing.
I finished wiping under my eye quickly before walking out of the door myself. I almost ran into someone, but they didn't move from my way.
The man took off his mask, and the familiarity was uncanny. "You're him, aren't you?" I asked looking at his features. I looked like him.
"Yes, I am." He responded with a genuine smile on his face. "Can we talk?" He asked nicely, but he seemed like he was in a hurry.
"Of course," I responded quickly. "Outside though," He pointed towards the exit and I nodded. It was loud in here, if that's why.
Grayson
I looked around the crowd for my dick of a brother. I saw Gideon walk in while I was searching, he was with Luna. I ignored it and kept looking.
I caught a glimpse of him walking out of the side exit, so I walked after him. Once I got outside I saw him walking across the dark parking lot at the back of the school.
I caught up to him and pushed his back harshly, causing him to move forward. "What the hell is wrong with you Ethan? Do you not get your fill of breaking her heart over, and over again?" I yelled at him, but he just stood there with a blank expression.
"What? Are you gonna fight me on her behalf?" He fake pouted, making my blood boil. "Don't pretend you aren't overjoyed by my absence, you've been waiting to get a piece since junior year," He retorted while he smiled at his comment. You could hear the jealously in his voice which contradicted the smile.
Before I could think my fist flew up and connected to his face. He was sent to the side, then brought his hand up to the side of his jaw.
"Wow, that kind of actually hurt," He laughed as he looked back up at me. "You're such a piece of shit," I shook my head at his utter change of character. "So you being in love with my girlfriend doesn't qualify as you also being a piece of shit? Don't be a hypocrite now Grayson," He replied with a wide smile covering his face. He really finds this funny.
"You can go to hell," I responded through gritted teeth, in an ultimately hurt voice. It was silent as we both looked at each other. "Now fellas, why are we fighting over one girl when there's a whole gym full of them?" Crimson's voice filled the silence and his body appeared from the darkness.
