Chapter 10

I wake up to the sound of my phone going of. I pick it up from the night stand and see it's Avani calling. I answer.
"Hey Vani, what's up?" I ask her in a sleepy voice.
"Hi bebe I'm at the sway and everyone here was wondering why Jaden didn't come home last night" I could tell that she was smiling.
"Avani it's 8:30am. Is this what you woke me up for?" I'm pissed.
"Um YEAH everyone here think that you guys slept together and I'm trying to tell them that you wouldn't do that because you're a goodie goodie." She mocks me.
"Dude nothing happened he fell asleep on the couch and i came in my room and slept." I tell her.
"SEE haha told ya Bryce. You owe me a 100" she tells Bryce. I hear Bryce saying damn it under his breath.
"Ok Jess I'll see you in a few byeeeeeee" Avani says and cuts the phone. I try to go back to sleep but I'm unable to. I look at the time and it's 8:45. Ugh.
I walk out of my room and see Jaden on his phone.
"Sup loser." I say and grab an apple from the table and take a bite.
"Why didn't you wake me up last night?" He asks me ignoring my question.
"You looked like you were in desperate need of sleep so why would I do that?" I tell him taking another bite.
"I was tired though" he tells me.
"You know vani just called me and asked me if we slept together" I tell him looking at my apple as I'm shy to look him in the eyes.
"What did you say?" He asks me putting his phone down in the couch and smiling
"I said we didn't." I tell him with a obvious expression on my face.
"Well you could've told her that we did" he says smiling.
"Why would i do that if we didn't?" I look at him in the eyes.
"You wanna change that?" He asks me and moves his hand on my thigh. I give him a smile and slap his hands off. And get off the couch and walk towards the wash room.
"Ugh, worth a shot" he shouts and I let out a little laugh.
"Hey you're dropping me to the sway." He tells me.
"And why would I do that?" I ask him looking at him.
"Because Anthony drove me here and I don't wanna Uber" he tells me and I shake my head no.
"Pleaseeeeeeee" he asks me
"Ugh fine but I'm not staying I have to go out today." I tell him.
"Where are you and Avani going?" He asks me.
"Um why would you assume I'm going out with Avani?" I ask him.
"Because she's your only friend." He laughs and glares at his phone.
"She's not and I'm not going out with her, I'm going out with Shane." I tell him. That certainly gains his attention.
"Who's Shane?" He asks me putting his phone down.
"I dated him. We broke up 6 months ago." I walk towards the kitchen and I hear him follow me.
"Why are you going out with your ex?" He asks me leaning on the fridge.
"Because we're still friends. Move." I ask him to get off of the fridge and he listens to me and I open the door of the fridge.
"Do you want eggs or grilled cheese?" I ask him looking at his seemingly disappointed face.
"Eggs." He tells me.
"Then help yourself. I don't know how to make eggs." I tell him taking the ingredients of grilled cheese out of the fridge.
"You don't know how to make eggs?" He asked me with a surprised expression.
"No, I really don't like eggs so I never learned how to make them." I tell him keeping the pan on the stove and lighting it.
"Oh, ok. I'm not that hungry I'll go take a bath. Do you have clothes that'll fit me." He asks me.
"I think there was one of Anthony's old sweatshirts that Avani threw in the washer as it's lost his smell. You can check." I tell him.
"Ok." He tells me and walks out of the kitchen.
When I was taking the last bite I peak out of the kitchen and see Jaden, shirtless walking inside the washroom. I text Avani and tell her that I'm picking her up. She thanks me and tells me to come soon. After about 10 minutes he walks out in Anthony's sweatshirt and his sweatpants from yesterday.
"You can go now." He tells me and I walk in my room and grab the clothes I picked out. I choose to wear a grey crop top with black jeans. I take around 20 minutes to take a bath and then the other 10 to do my hair as they are curly and have a routine. I decide not to do any makeup.
I walk out and see Jaden watching the office.
"Finally. I thought you died in there" he tells me getting up and walking towards the door. I choose not to say anything and just give out a smile and grab my car keys and phone and walk behind him.
The car ride was quite he put some music on and it was nice. I liked his taste in music. He also said that I was a bad driver. Which I'm not, I'm the best driver. We reach the sway in around 10 mins and I pull into their driveway.
"Thanks for the ride." He smiles at me. And opens the door.
"You're welcome." I smile back.
"Enjoy your date" he mocks me
"It's not a date." I pause for a second and read the expression on his face. "Are you jealous?" I question.
"Why would I be jealous?" He scoffs.
"Whatever, send Avani out I'm getting late." I told him and he walks in the house
