Chapter 43

"Ok" I say and try to smile, but everyone gets to know it's a fake one. "Jess" Jaden says, reaching for my hand but I get up and walk in the kitchen grabbing the bread from Josh's hand and spreading peanut butter on it.

I take a bite and ignore the looks I'm getting. I sit on the kitchen counter and continue biting the bread. "Ok, I'm gonna go to the common room" Bryce says and starts walking. "Me too" everyone except Jaden say and start walking in the common room.

Jaden walks over to me and stands between my legs. "Hey" he say, grabbing my chin and forcing me to look at him. "I'll not see her if you don't want me to. It's not a big deal." He assures me. "But.. who invited her?" I question, with a annoyed look on my face. "She basically invited herself. She saw us and stared talking about what we are doing here. Kio told her that we're here to party and shit and she invited herself. After giving me a weird ass look." He rolls his eyes. " I look away from him. I don't know what to do. It's not his fault but I hate seeing her. SHE TRIED TO KISS HIM FFS. "Ok" I say, not looking at him. "I'll not see her." He repeats himself. "You can, I'm not the boss of you." I lightly smile. He hold my face and pecks my lips. "I'm not seeing her." He say and looks into my eyes. I hug him and wrap my legs around his waist. He carries me to the common room and sits me down beside him.

A few hours later, we start preparing for the so called 'party.' All the guys got from the grocery store is some chips and alcohol. We put some stuff out and the door bell rings. "I'll get it" I say, and walk towards the door.

I open it revealing Taylor with a guy and a girl with him. "Jess!!!" He gets excited and hugs me tightly. We haven't seen each other in FOREVER!!!!! I hug him back equally as tight as I missed him SOOOO MUCH. We have been hugging since about 2 mins and the the two people that came with him have walked past us to greet other people. "Ok, that's enough" Jaden say, pulling me away from Taylor.

"Jaden" Taylor says and they do the handshake thingi. "How are you man" Taylor says. "Good. So, how do you two know each other?" He questioned, looking at me and back at Taylor. "Oh, we were best friends them we actually dated for like a week. I mean it was a fake date to make Shane jealous." He laughs, looking at me. I suddenly realise how awkward this is. I mean I have NEVER thought of Taylor as anyone more than a very good friend. We know each other's since 4 years now. "Ohh.. is that so" Jaden says and looks at me. I look away. "I'll go meet everyone else" I say and walk out of that scenario. That was awkward.

I meet people that came with Taylor and they are extremely sweet. Kelianne and Taylor seem to be talking since 2 weeks but is not official yet. Nate is extremely sweet, he make me learn a couple of tiktok dances and we posted videos from his tiktok.

Me and Jaden have not spoken to each other since that awkward chat but he is passing some dirty looks to me throughout. If looks could kill, I would be dead.

I walk into my room to check my phone. A few minutes later I heard some walk in. I turn around to see it's Jaden. "So, you were just not gonna tell me about this?" Are the first words that come out of his mouth. "I can I explain" I say. He is calmer than usual, which is weird considering I would have told him about Taylor. I pat on the bed and he comes and sits beside me. "I dated Taylor because Shane was not making a move on me. Everyone knew I liked him and it was quite clear that he liked me. I know that I was VERY immature thing to do and I hate myself for it. Taylor was my best friend and he offered to help me out and it was his idea. But I should've stoped it from happening I just liked him so much." I say. "Why didn't you just tell him?" He questions. "I was a extremely socially awkward person." I smile. He looks down at the floor.

I move closer to him. "Hey, I'm sorry. I should've told you. It's just that Taylor has always been such a good friend, it'll all i see him as. I didn't even think it mattered anymore." I say. He looks at me and I make a baby face. "Ugh, you're too cute to ignore." He says and holds my waist and connected his lips to mine. It was a aggressive this time. Like almost never before. He pinned me down to the bed and I wrap my hands around his neck and my legs around his waist and pull his body closer to mine.

About a minute later, the door opens. Jaden and I jump away from each other and look at the the unwelcomed guest. "Oops, sorry. I should've knocked." Katie says. This bitch.
