Chapter 28

We walk in and everyone laying watching watching inside out. I sat next to Avani who was cuddled against Anthony. Jaden sat next to Bryce. I stared at the screen focused on the movie. After a few minutes I felt my phone buzz a couple of times but I didn't pay attention to it.

After a few minutes i stared getting bored and looked at Jaden and he was looking at me. I raised an eyebrow towards him he pointed down. I immediately got to knew that he was telling me to come to his room with him. I got up and waved Avani bye. I felt him follow me and I waked down stairs and entered his room. I sat myself on his bad and he came in and shut his door. "Oh Jaden can you get my phone I forgot it on the table." He frowned. "Please" i made a puppy face. He whined but he walked out. I layer down in his bed.

After a few minutes he walked in. "What is Harry texting you?" He asks me with a serious expression. "Jess, if you don't want this to go anywhere you should tell me. Don't waste my time." He said. This broke my heart. I couldn't bring myself to say anything. I got up, snatched my phone from his hands and walk out of his room. Maybe we aren't meant for each other. Maybe he doesn't understand me like I thought he did. I walk up the stairs and a tear rolls down my cheek. I walk into where everyone was sitting watching a movie.

"Griffin, can you take me home?" I said in a low voice. I know that I sound mean but I know that Anthony drove Avani here so she doesn't have her car. Everyone looks at me and make a worried expression. "What's wrong Jess?" Avani asks me, getting up and putting a hand on my shoulder. "Nothing I don't wanna talk about it. Are you staying over tonight?" I ask her. "No, I can come home with y-" I cut her off. "No, you should stay, I'll have the house to myself. I need that." I smile at her. Griffin stands beside me, waiting for me to come to him. "Bye everyone" I say and wave them goodbye with a weak smile. "Take care" everyone says.

"So, are we gonna talk about it?" Griffin asks me breaking the silence. We're almost halfway to my house. "I don't think Jaden trusts me." I say and break into tears. "what happened?" He asks me. I tell him everything. He makes a face like he feels sorry for me. Honestly, I will too, if I was him. He doesn't say anything for about 3 minutes and then we reach home. I smile at him "thanks for driving me." I say and open the car door. "Jess?" He says. "Yeah?" I stop. "I know he's a tough nut but he's doing this because he really likes you. He's just insecure and I guess you know why. He jumps to conclusions but you need to make him understand things. I've known him from almost since he was 17 and he's never been this attracted towards anyone more than you. Just think about him ok? Talk stuff out with him." He smile. A tear rolls down my eye but I smile too. "Thanks, Griffin" I smile at him. I get out of the car and walk into the apartment. I fall into my bed and fall asleep.

Note- I'm so sorry for not posting yesterday. I had a lot to do. The next chapter is gonna be Jaden's POV. It's so good to see y'all are liking the book.
