Chapter 25

After a few seconds Jaden walked back in with a bag of McDonald's in his hand. "I ordered you food" he said handing me the bag. "You did?" I said with a tear in my eyes. OK IM ON MY PERIOD AND IM MOODY JUDGE ME. "Yeah Avani told me that you were on your period so.. gotta treat you right" he said sitting on my bed and placing a kiss on my forehead. No one has ever got me anything just because I was on my period before. I tear in my eyes falls on my cheek when I blink and look at Jaden. "Why are you crying?" He laughs. "You're so sweet" I say and he pulls my head into his chest for a hug. "Not always" he says and I hit him on his shoulder playfully. "Now eat it before I eat it myself" he says and start eating my happy meal.

I offer Jaden some as me was continuously looking at me eating it but he refused. "Do you wanna go for a drive?" I say and Jaden gives me a confused expression. "Are you sure?" He says and I have a feeling he's referring to my period. "Oh come on Jaden I'm bleeding, not dying." I say and walk out of my room and see him following me. We walk towards his car, he unlocks the door and I get into the passenger seat.

I connect my phone to his car and put my fun playlist on. We were jamming and having so much fun driving around. He made a few TikToks and I was scared he was gonna crash the car. "Jaden have you eaten?" I ask him. "Yeah, I've had a huge ass lunch" he smile at me. "Ok then let's go to the place you took me last time..you know the empty road." I tell him. "Okay" he chuckles.

He drives for a few minutes and then we reach the same road. I get out of the car and sit on the footpath like the last time I did. He sits beside me. "What did you do in these past two days?" I finally ask him. He looks down at the floor. "Nothing productive. I was didn't even get out of my room that much." He gives me a weak smile. "I'm sorry" I says looking into his eyes. "You have nothing to be sorry about, I could've texted or called you but I didn't" he says. I hold his hand and interlock our fingers. "Let's not talk about it ok?" I ask and he lifts up our hands and places a kiss on mine. "Ok" he said.

After a few minutes of talking, he takes his hand and moves a piece of hair behind my ear. He's done that a lot of times. "Why do you do that?" I ask him smiling. "Do what?" He plays innocent. "Tuck my hair behind my ear." I give him a obvious expression. "Because I like to see your whole face...It's ugly" he says after a pause. I laugh and smack his arm.

We were there until about 1am in the morning. We get into the car and he starts driving. "Are you dropping me?" I ask him. "No, I'm staying over at your house today" he smiles. I'm not complaining. Avani won't be back till tomorrow so we have the house all to ourselves.

We reach to my apartment and I unlock the door. Jaden walks into the bathroom and comes out shirtless. I walk in and undress myself and slip myself into his shirt which has his smell. I know we're not dating but wearing his oversized clothes make me feel good so why miss the opportunity. I wear shorts underneath the shirt and walk to my room.

"Um, I'll sleep on the couch" he says and starts walk. "No, you should stay" I tell him. "Are you sure?" He says. "Stop playing with me, hossler. I know you wanna cuddle." I laugh and jump on my bed. He laughs and lays himself down beside me. I look at him and he's already looking at me. "What?" I say and he doesn't respond. He just keeps looking into my eyes and I keep looking into his.

Moments later I feel his hand on my waist and I blush. He moves closer to my face and whispers "can I kiss you?" I smile. "What are are you waiting for?" I say and a smile grows on his face. A few seconds later he smashes his lips onto mine. I suddenly get butterflies in my stomach and I move my hands to face and grab it. I pull him closer to me and he continues kissing me. A few seconds later we pull away, both in search of breath. I look at him and smile. I cuddle into his chest and close my eyes. "Night, Jaden" I whisper. I feel him kiss the top of my head. "Night cutie" he whispers back.
