Chapter 15

I open his car door and grab his attention.
"Heyyy Jess" he smile looking at me.
"Hii" I tell him seating myself.
"Is it okay if we grab food and then talk, I haven't really eaten anything since this morning." He says.
"Sure." I reply smiling at him. He drives and orders. He asks me if I want something but I refuse. He takes his order and drives. He starts driving in a very unknown direction to me.
"Where are we going?" I ask looking at him.
"Don't worry I'm not kidnapped you. Yet" he says after a pause. He knows exactly how to lighten the mood. I laugh. He stops his car on a very empty ride and steps out of it. I follow him.
He sits on the footpath and I look at him with confused eyes. He looks at me at taps beside him indicating me to sit with him. I don't argue.
"So what did you wanna talk about?" He asks me taking a bite of his burger.
"Uh yeah I wanted to talk about what happened last night...you know between us." I start to play with my nails.
"Yeah, how do you feel about what happened between us?" He looks at me and smiles.
"I don't know what to feel. I'm confused. To be honest, I don't know if I like you yet" I don't look back at him.
"Jess I really do like you. But my heart has been broken previously and I don't want that to happen again. Not saying that you will break my heart. The last serious relationship I was in was in high school and it ended roughly. After that, I've only hooked up with girls and never dated anyone. I've known you since 5 days and I felt attracted towards you since the beginning. I kissed you because I felt that it was right at the moment. We can talk and get to know each other as friends and then see where it goes. We can even go out on drives like this and you can come hang at the sway with the boys and me because first I have to see if we're compatible or not. I want you to know the real me and then like me." He lifts my chin up and forces me to look at him. "How do you feel about that idea?" He asks. I'm so flatter by what he just said. I'm so happy that we were on the same page.
"I love it" I smile at him. He holds my hand and pulls me closer to him and gives me a side hug while sitting. My phone suddenly pings. I pull away and see who it is
Harry- I'm sorry if this is too soon but I would love to take you out. So we could like know each other;)
I glance at Jaden and he is taking a bite from his burger. He looks at me and gives me a smile. Crap. This is not ending well I tell myself.
