Chapter 48

2 months later.

"I'm gonna ask him today Avani!!" I almost scream. My heart is pounding like it's gonna fall out of my chest. I can't feel my legs. This is really happening.

"I'm so excited for you Jess. Especially you're the one asking him. The girl I knew 2 years ago could've never done that." She says. She's right. I was weak and timid. He really changed me.

I wear the dress Addison took out for me. That girl has a good eye I must say. It's black staghetti strap split dress. I've never wore it before. I got it about a month ago when I went shopping with the girls. I pair up some black heals with them. The girls are over. Nessa and Olivia are doing my hair. They first straighten it, because my hair is too curly, then take Avani's curler and curl them from the end. Addison is doing my makeup and she put a dark red shade of lipstick on me. which is probably used for the first time since as long as I can remember. It's gonna be a perfect night.

When I'm ready and pick up my phone, the door bell rings. My heart starts to pound. "I'll get it." Dixie, who's been on her phone for about 30 mins, says and jumps out of bed excitedly. I love seeing everyone happy. I wait for a few seconds and then I hear her say "Jess, he's here." I feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack.

I walk out of my room and see him standing on the door wearing a black shirt with black jeans. I can smell his perfume and it makes me weak.
He sees me coming his was and looks at my dress. His mouth falls open a little bit. I slightly laugh.

When I'm standing right in front of him He takes my hand, pulls me closer to him, and places a kiss on my cheek. "Hi" he says. Ugh his voice. "Hi" I look at him while he looks back at me.

We look at each other for about 20 seconds when Dixie breaks the silence. "Uhm." She clears her throat. "If you guys wanna make out, don't let me stop you." She says and we both laugh.

"Bye Dixie" he says while pulling my hand further out the door. "Bye Jaden. Have fun." She smile. I look at her and she puts her thumbs up, wishing me all the best. I give her a nod with a small smile. I love her.

The drive was mostly silent, except he played our playlist on his phone. Oh, did I forget to mention? We made a playlist together. It was probably the best 3 hours of my life.

When we reach the restaurant he parks the car and in buckles his seatbelt and moves towards me. He connects his lips to mine and I don't repel it. My hands place themselves on either side of the face. He breaks it after a couple of seconds. "What was that for?" I ask. "You look beautiful, I couldn't control myself." He says and I smile. I peck his lips and he moves out of the car. When I'm about to open my door "wait" I hear him say. He comes over to my side and opens my door for me. I'm so attracted towards him right now. I smile and he interlocks our fingers.

He pulls me inside the restaurant and we find a table for ourselves. When we sit in a booth, right next to each other, he lifts up my hand and places a kiss on it. I melt.

The dinner is us talking and laughing about the stuff that happened to us all week as we didn't get to see each other. He had to be at the studio and since I've joined the cast of Attaway General I have been very busy.

When we're over with dinner I tell him to drive us to our spot, which is the empty road and we've been there like at least a 100 times in the past month. He doesn't suspect anything because it's my favourite place in the world and he know I love going there with him.

When we reach there, I sit down with my legs straight as I'm wearing a dress and he sits down beside me with his legs crossed.

Phew. Let's do this.
