After having talk and closure to Ian, and also reconcile to Sander, a big part of me feels light. Even though Rajih's out of nowhere, it still makes me happy that finally… we're okay now.
Isn't that what should matter now? We do deserve to have a happy mind and peaceful life after everything? Yes, the wounds and traume won't go away that fast-- or worse, it won't go away but at least, Ian acknowledge it already.
He's sorry. He asked for apology and I accepted it.
That's all matters now.
"Girl, sino 'tong Sander?" Binaba ko ang iniinom na bottled water nang biglang magsalita si Roni sa tabi ko. It's our lunch time and kakatapos lang namin kumain.
Roni asked for my phone since she asked favor. Wala daw siyang load at sarado iyong pinagpapa-load-an namin dito sa canteen. She'll text her papa raw, hindi ko lang alam kung ano iyon.
Nanlaki ang mata ko sa narinig. I asked for my phone but she kept it away from me. Gosh. Sander really fulfilled what he said from yesterday!
He asked for my number to ask me how I'm doing, he'll check on me raw, and also he'll call me kapag ibabalik niya na si Ian sa akin. We both know it's just a joke but Ian got offended with that.
Sander was problematic on how to make him go back to what he wss habang ako naman ay tatawa-tawa lang sa harapan nila.
I told him that he don't need to check on me or text me or do any communication because I want them to be peaceful. They don't need me anymore in their life, they have their own. I have no place on their position now.
But he still did. "He said Good Morning and oh my gosh, bakit magkasama sila ni Ian?!"
Nakiusyoso na si Roni sa kaniya. Bigla akong nahiya dahil hindi lang naman kami ang nasa table! Ang lakas pa ng boses niya! Tinignan ko sila isa-isa at buti nalang ay busy sila mag-phone. From Evan to Rachet, busy sila magpindot sa phone nila.
"What's that?" Kinuha ko ang phone ko.
"Kung binigay niyo sa akin, e 'di sana hindi kayo sumisigaw diyan.
We both excused ourselves at pumasok sa banyo. I asked them to go with me here since I promised to Sander and Ian na secret lang ang relasyon nila. I don't know why but I know soon, they'll tell it to people.
Parang hindi nga secret ginagawa nila kung magkaakbay at hinahalikan siya ni Sander sa mall.
"Puwede namang sabihin doon e." Kinuha ni Juno ang makeup bag niya at sumama naman si Roni.
"Oo nga," Roni agreed.
Napaikot nalang ako ng mata. Tinago ko ang phone sa bulsa ko at sumali sa kanila. I grab her lip balm and looked at them. "Ayokong may makarinig na iba na may bago na si Ian."
Saglit silang napatigil at takang tumungo sa akin. "Ano namang katago-tago doon? Baka nga alam na nila na may new girlfriend na si Vasquez." Juno rolled her eyes.
Alam ko naman iyon. Kilala naman na halos ng lahat kung sino ang boyfriend ko. Hindi nga lang kagaya ng sobrang kilala kagaya nilang dalawa pero alam nila na may boyfriend ako dati tapos wala na kami.
They did not react to our break up, they just said they're sorry and iyon nalang. It's better because they don't know anything so they better to say few words.
"Mainit dito, Frey.. Tell it to us already.." Roni hold her shiny hair at the back of her head, using her last palm, she used it to fan herself.
"How could I do that kung kino-kontra niyo ako?" Nagtaas na ako ng kilay. Bwisit, e.
