' Oh so I was just supposed to continue and let that idiot try to get with you.'' No Andrew but you're blowing things out of proportion. Michael and I are just friends, there's nothing going on between us.'
' Friends with your ex?! That's bullshit. When did you two suddenly become friends anyway because I know for a fact that you terminated all contact with him when you guys broke up.'
' That was what ten years ago. He came over to the bakery when he first got here-'
' Y'all been talking since he got here?! A year ago! You're wrong for that. If it was me who did that to you. Your friends would have me on the cross, cruxifying me as we speak.'
Emily grabbed her husband by his upper arm when he attempted to walk out of their bedroom.
' We're still talking. Don't you dare walk out that door.'
' Well I am done. You should have thought about talking before you decided to rekindle your relationship with your ex!'
' Drew it's not even like that. Why are you assuming things.'
' Okay tell me this, if you were to find out that I have been talking to Lettie for almost two years now and never told you about it, how would you feel? Would you not assume that something was going on between the two of us?'
' I wouldn't-'
' Don't even lie because if the table's were turned, I'd be sleeping in the guest bedroom. Now let me go I am late for work.'
' I won't let you go till you understand that Micheal and I have nothing sinister going on between us.'
' As soon as you found out from his bitch ass, I might say, that I had punched him, you came at me in his defense. Now you expect me to believe that you're just friends.'
' Baby -'
' Save it because no explanation you give right now will make me understand your behaviour. I have to go.'
Emily gasped when he roughly pulled his arm from her grasp. Ayanda noticed her sombre mood as soon as she walked into their place of business. As a concerned friend she followed her into their office after asking one of her employees to help with a customer she was busy with.
' Hey hun are you okay? You don't look too good.'
' Really Aya!'
' I don't mean it like that babe. You just look sad and stressed. Is this about what happened between Micheal and Andrew?'
' Yes, he's got it in his head that something was or is going on between me and Micheal and no matter how hard I tried to convince him otherwise.'
' I am sure he's just hurt and angry. Give him time to calm down and he'll see the truth.'
' Maybe I should get Mike to talk to him.'
' I don't think that's a great idea, he might just take it the wrong way.'
' I cannot just sit and accept this. I don't want to end up like you.'
