' Where are you off to so early?'Axel stirred to find his wife getting dressed in one of his t-shirts. They had had a late night and he thought they would sleep in.
' I'm going to make breakfast for my family.'
He lifted himself up from the pillow using his elbows to balance himself. He watched her, knowing that she was still stressing about her friends and their encounter the day before. Ayanda liked to keep busy to avoid dealing with issues. After she was done crying in her friends bathroom he took her home. They left without notifying anybody and forgot about her cousin. Axel only sent a text apologising later to Omari.
' Don't you think you and your girlfriends should meet and talk stuff out.'
He got up and got dressed to go downstairs with her.
' Well I texted them this morning. I'll meet with them tomorrow.'
They walked downstairs in each other's arms, joking and laughing and bumped into a half naked strange man walking out of their kitchen. Axel quickly pushed his wife behind him to protect her.
' Who are you and what the hell are you doing in my house!?'
' I thought this was uhm, Winter's house. My bad. I'm Dave and you have a beautiful house and girl.'
Dave said peaking behind him at his half naked wife.
' That's my wife and tell Summer to come out here!'
Dave shrug his shoulders and walked towards and into the guest bedroom which was currently occupied by Summer. Ayanda noticed a seething Axel and tried to calm him.
' Thank God the kids ain't up yet.'
' I told you to tell her to leave. Now she's turned our home into bordello.'
' Don't say that about my cousin Axel. She's not a prostitute and she needed some company. There's nothing wrong with that.'
' Are you fucking kidding me right Now?!'
' Axel!'
' This is our home where we lay our heads with our kids and she is to respect it by not bringing strange men into it without our permission.'
' You're making her sound like a prostitute. It's not like she does this everyday.'
' You don't know that. I want her out by today!'
A sleepy Summer walked into the kitchen.
' This is my cousin's house and if she wants me here. I am staying.'
Ayanda watched defeated as they argued back and forth. For as long as she could remember, these two were always at each other's throats and she never understood why.
' QUIET!!! Both of you. My kids are asleep. I do not know why you two hate each other but right here right now you're going to resolve this.'
' I've told you she's a two headed snake but you don't see that.'
' Said the cheating husband.'
Summer
' Summer! Yes you have but you won't tell me what it is that's so bad that she's done for you to label her that.'
' Fine.'
' I know you're not going to listen to anything he's going to say.'
