' Sorry I'm late. Was in another lunch meeting.'

Ayanda apologised as she sat down and called for the waiter. She had just returned from her lunch with Nate.

' It's okay. We haven't been waiting that long. Aya we're really sorry for the things we all said a few weeks back. It was uncalled for and disrespectful to you, your husband and our friendship.'

Neveah.

' Then why did you say it? That Shit hurt and to think I was only trying to be a good helpful friend after all three of you came to me crying and needing advice.'

' I guess we were just being spiteful because it seemed like you were taking their sides.'

Emily

' Well I was not but in some circumstances you have to look at things from both sides and that's what I was trying to do.'

' We're sorry we shouldn't have said those things or reacted in the manner we did. That's not what real friends do. So what can we do to prove how sorry we are for our behaviour?'

Sadé asked.

' Nothing I believe you.'

' Yeah the squad is back. We've been friends for too long to be beefing.'

They cheered to that and continued chatting while she waved for the waiter and ordered a cheesecake with a fruit salad to go.

' I'm just glad that there won't more tension at the bakery anymore.'

' Yeah me too. '

She replied absent mindedly while she typed on her phone. The girls noticed her mood had changed and Sadé asked what was wrong.

' Did you guys know about what was going on between Summer and Axel?'

Sadé was the first to speak up.

' There's something going on between them? I thought Summer was the one who tried to seduce Axe at his bachelor party. Well that's what Omari told me.'

So everybody knew she thought.

' After Sadé's birthday party Shadrach told me that he did not like her because she tried once to get with all of them at a party.'

When Shadrach met Neveah, Ayanda and Axel were already married. So were Omari and Sadé and never met Summer till now.

' I remember Micheal told me that she tried to get Axe to dump you when you first introduced them.'

' Why did you not tell me?'

' Honey how do you tell someone about their relative. I know that Axe tried to warn you but could not really say what the problem was because he did not want to be the reason your relationship ended. Omari said that he was hoping that eventually you would see her for who she really was.'

' He knows how I feel about family and betrayal, he should have said something sooner. I have had this woman around us and our kids thinking she had the best interests for us but all she wanted to do was sleep with my husband and I am currently not speaking to my husband because of her. While she's having the time of her life.'
