' Thank you for this momma. I owe you one.'

Axe said handing over his reluctant daughter over to his mother but she screamed. The boys were already in the backyard and had gone straight there when his mother opened up her door.

' No need babe, anything for my son and grandkids. Though since you mentioned it, I saw this beautiful designer bag and a matching church hat.'

' Yeah sure mom. I'll get it for you tomorrow.'

Amanda grabbed onto his father's shirt when he tried to hand her over again.

'Mandy go to grandma, daddy has to go get the house ready, pick up mommy's gift and then go pick mommy up. I promise I'll spend the whole day with you tomorrow, today is mommy's day.'

' No!'

She said shaking her little head. Axel sighed, he really did not have the time for her little tantrums. He turned her to look at him since she was mugging her grandmother.

' Princess dad-'

' Dada!'

She screamed and held her hands out when his father walked into the room followed by the boys.

' Well I'll be damned! You little traitor. You chose your grandpa over me! When I'm the one whose always giving you candy.'

' Did the same thing to Aya the other day. She's been really clingy to me for the past four days.'

' If it was only Aya, I would think she's pregnant but she's just being a daddy's girl. '

Axel drove the local florist and local restaurant to pick up his orders before getting everything else he needed for tonight. He went back home and set up his backyard before driving to her bakery when everything was done.

' What are you smiling at like that?'

' Can't a husband smile at his wife after not seeing her for a whole day.'

Ayanda shook her head and sat back in the passenger seat wondering what he was up to. She had had a long day baking orders from her customers. He grabbed her hand after locking the car and guided her into the house then straight into the dim bathroom where he had set up red and white candles with rose petals surrounding it. She undressed while he filled the bath with bubbles and water.

' Are you not joining me?'

' No babe. I have to do something downstairs but I'll return to give you a foot massage.'

He never returned for the foot massage. She walked out into her bedroom and found a red winter robe on their bed. After oiling her body she put on the robe and walked downstairs in search of him.

' What are yo_ wow baby this is beautiful? What are we celebrating. Don't tell me I forgot an anniversary.'

She was met with lights strewn onto the trees in her backyard while a table covered with a cheesy red and white heart Valentine's cloth was placed in the middle of the yard. Candles lit their table and on opposite sides of the tables were covered serving dishes. It looked like a scene from one of those far fetched romantic movies.

' Well this morning I got a call informing me that the investigation against me has been dropped and Brittany and Summer have been charged with attempted murder.'
