Bill

October 20th, 1986

It has been fifteen days.

Fifteen days and ten hours since Bill told Aspen they needed a break. He watched her during classes as she sat in the back with Marie and Elizabeth.

He watched her during mealtime as she laid down and looked utterly broken. All Bill wanted to do was wrap his arms around her and hold her close and tell her everything would be okay.

But he knew he couldn't do that. He needed her to get help and make sure she was okay. Madam Pomfrey and told him that they had gone two days ago for the muggle testing and was patiently waiting for the results.

Bill stood up from his spot in the library and began to gather his things.

Next year he would be taking his N.E.W.Ts in order to become a Curse Breaker, the one thing he has always dreamed of doing.

As he swung his bag over his shoulder and began to make his way out of the library he felt someone coming closer to him.

When he turned around and pointed his wand at Professor McGonagall.

"Do you plan on dueling me, Mr. Weasley?" McGonagall asked as she held a box in her arms.

"Not at all Professor. You just scared me. I'm a bit tired." He confessed as he lowered his wand and looked at his head of us.

"So it seems between you and Ms. Malfoy. A box arrived today at my office addressed to you." She said as she offered the box to Bill who gladly took it.

"Oh thank you, Professor."

McGonagall stared at Bill Weasley for a moment and smiled softly.

"I believe you need to speak to Ms. Malfoy soon Mr. Weasley. I know you two are going through something but you two, well, I don't wish to you too separated." She commented and Bill sighed.

"Of course Professor." He said before he turned and made his way to Gryffindor Tower. After telling the password to the portrait, of course, this month being Griffins, Bill walked passed everyone and went to his dorm.

As he sat on the bed he drew the curtains closed and opened the box in front of him.

The first thing he saw was a letter addressed to Oscar Wood. Bill raised an eyebrow before looking at the box to make sure it was truly addressed to him.

It was.

Bill, still confused, opened the letter and began to read.

Dear Oscar,

I gave birth to our child. We have a beautiful daughter. I named her what we have always dreamed of naming her.

Aspen Drusilla Malfoy. Alexander refuses to give her the Carrow name and it has annoyed his parents but at least he publicly said that she was his.

Oscar, I wished you could've been by my side holding my hand. I wish you could've been beside me when the midwife placed our daughter on my chest.

She has my eyes but Merlin she has your nose. And the half-smile that made me fall in love with you.

Alexander leaves for Spain with Lucius and Rodlphus in two days. May we meet so I can introduce you to our daughter?

I miss you and I wish our lives weren't what they are now. So I would be married to you and we could have a beautiful family.

Write soon. I love you.

Roxanne Elizabeth Malfoy

Bill stared at the letter and knew Aspen had to see this box. As he folded the letter back up and put it back in the envelope he looked through the box.

Inside was a christening gown that he knew must've belonged to Aspen.

"Who the hell sent this?" Bill muttered before folding the gown and looking through the box again.

The next thing Bill pulled out was a picture of Roxanne Malfoy and Aspen Malfoy. They were in the streets of Muggle London.

Bill flipped the photo around and saw the writing that said 'Roxanne and Aspen taken by Oscar, London February 1980

Bill smiled softly at the photo of Aspen before grabbing the last thing in the box. It was another letter addressed to Oscar Wood.

As Bill flipped it open he knew it was from Roxanne Malfoy and her scripture looked as if she had been in a hurry.

Oscar,

I'm terrified. Alexander has been involved more and more with the Dark Lords' work. I know I agreed to marry him for protection but I think he will have me killed first.

Aspen adores him and to know he would easily turn us in scares me.

Oscar, if anything happens to me please take Aspen. Raise her as we have always wanted her to be raised. With love and not the rules our families have imposed on us.

I don't want her to be raised by my brother. He is too much like my father.

Oscar please know I love you. And I will gladly give you Aspen and leave her life if I knew it would protect her.

Please try to meet me at our spot and I will give you our daughter. If not I am scared of what I might have to do.

Yours forever,

Roxanne Elizabeth Malfoy

Bill knew then and there he had to give Aspen this box. As he carefully put everything in the box, he nearly ripped his curtains open and climbed out of his bed.

When he went to the door standing there was Aspen who had her hand raised as if she was going to knock.

"Aspen," Bill whispered and she smiled her normal beautiful smile.

"Hello, Bill. Can we talk?" She asked and Bill nodded letting her inside.

"I got the results. We are not having a baby Bill. I was just stressed." Aspen explained and Bill smiled.

"Even if we were having a child I would not have left you," Bill explained and Aspen nodded.

"I know. I took your advice and spoke to Pomfrey. With everything, I have found out I just needed help. And I knew you were looking out for me."

"I will always look out for you. Aspen someone sent a box to me but I really think it's for you." He confessed and Aspen raised an eyebrow as she looked at her boyfriend.

"How do you know it's for me?"

"Because there are two letters your mother wrote to your father in there. Along with your christening gown and a picture your father took of you and your mother."

Aspen looked at Bill for a moment before moving to the box and seeing who addressed it to Bill.

"What is it?"

"It's from Norwich. Where my stepfather and mother lived. It's from Carrow Manor Bill."
