~Sora~

Jaune rushed forwards with a clumsy strike. Cardin easily sidestepped it and slammed his mace into Jaune's back, sending him flying. Jaune lost hold of his shield in the air, before tumbling away.

Jaune got up, with difficulty, and gripped his sword with both hands before charging back at Cardin. Cardin blocked it and they stayed locked in that position.

Cardin: "This is where you lose"

Jaune: "Over my dead-?!" Cardin kneed him in the stomach and Jaune crumbled to the ground. Cardin raised his mace to strike again, but the bell rang, signifying the end of the match.

Glynda: "Cardin, that's enough. Students, as you can see Mr. Arc's aura has now dropped into the red. In a tournament style duel, this would indicate that Jaune is no longer fit for battle"

Glynda: "At this point, the official may call the match. Mr. Arc, it's been weeks now. Please try to refer to your scroll during combat. Gauging your aura will help you decide when it is best to attack or defend"

Glynda: "We wouldn't want you to be gobbled up by a beowolf, now would we?"

Cardin: "Speak for yourself. . ." He retreated off the stage and back into the stands.

Ruby: "I don't like him. . ."

Sora: "Don't pay him any heed, he's just a bully. Reacting to them is what they want"

Glynda: "Remember everyone! The Vytal Festival is only a few months away. It won't be long before students from the other kingdoms start arriving in Vale, so keep practicing!"

Glynda: "Those who choose to combat in the combat tournament will be representing all of Vale. Now, on that note, I believe we have the time for one more match. Would anyone like to volunteer?"

Most of the class raised their hands, probably pumped up by Ms. Goodwitch's speech.

Glynda: "Ah, good. Ms. Nikos, thank you for volunteering" And just like that, everyone's hands dropped. Pyrrha had gained the moniker of being undefeatable.

Hell, no one has even been able to touch her, he hasn't lost once. The first few weeks were filled with people challenging her, believing they had a chance.

Spineless cowards. . . Well, let's get the ball rolling

Glynda: "Is no one going to volunteer? Oh! Mr. Bael, thank you for volunteering" She sent me a smirk, seemingly grateful.

Ruby: "*whisper shout* Sora! What are you doing?! Don't you know who she is?!"

Sora: "Yeah? What about it?" All of team RWBY is staring at me in shock, WB hiding it better while RY just have their mouths agape.

I laugh at their expressions, before making my way to the stage.

She's nothing special, she's just human. Just like me, and just like everyone else here. There's something to what makes her unbeatable, I just have to figure out what.

I stood on the stage, parallel to Pyrrha Nikos. Many would be dreading this situation, I. . . I just studied her. Her stance, her weapons, her armor, the look in her eyes, everything.

Nothing was unimportant, everything could help.

Glynda: "Are you both ready?" We nodded. "Alright then, begin!" I rushed forwards.

Being cautious at this stage would be useless, I just have to jump! I unsheated Muramasa and attcked. She raised her shield up and blocked me without difficulty.
