It's you

Chapter 2

"Rise and shine!" My mum shouted as she opened my curtains.
"No I don't want to go!" I said as i buried my face into the pillow.
"You have to get ready to leave by 8!" My mum shouted.
"Mum I can hear you, no need to shout, what time is it?" I murmured.
"It's 6:50, now wake up and get ready." My mum said as she left the room.

I finally got up and went downstairs and poured myself some Frosties. I sat in my sheep pjs slurping my cereal like a complete animal.

'Eat properly you pig!'
'Urgh you again'
'I am you, idiot! You're a pig and an idiot!'

My thoughts got interrupted by Alfie running into my house. I was in the middle of putting the spoon into my mouth so we were just staring at each other. When I finally swallowed my mouthful of cereal I got chased up the stairs by Alfie. I ran into my room and hid under my bed, hiding from him. Yeah I still think we're mentally 5. Anyway I kept quiet and tried to breath quietly. I felt him jump onto the bed so I had to hold my breath. He then peeped his head under the bed.

"Can you get ready now pretty please?" He asked battering his eyes.
"But you chased me up the stairs...why should I?" I squinted my eyes and looked at him.
"Because school is in 15minutes." he said, raising one eyebrow at me.
"Fine fine. But it's because of school not you!" I teased and ran into the bathroom.

I brushed my light brown hazel hair and quickly changed into my school uniform. I sprayed some of my favourite perfume and applied some mascara. I kept my hair straight today. In our school we had to wear ties. I know every school or nearly every school has to, but the problem was...I can't do ties to save my life. I walked out the bathroom trying to figure out my tie when I walked into a dresser. I fell on the floor holding my knee. Why is it when I bump into stuff it's always my head, my knee cap or my toe? They are the places that hurt most. I rolled around the floor trying to release the pain. Alfie ran up to me and picked me up, and sat me on my bed. He done my tie while I was rubbing my knee cap.

"Want me to kiss it better?" He chuckled.
"What if I said yes?" I joked, well to him anyway.
"Then I will because I'm a good friend! I don't hurt people...or drop them!" He shouted at me but he was laughing at the same time.
"Alfie we were seven! And it was a only piggy back come on!" I said, crossing my arm like I was a child.
"Oh crap..." Alfie whispered.
"What is it?" I whispered back.
"School is in 6 minutes, and why are we whispering?" He asked and we ran down the stairs and into my mums car.

We arrived at school literally at 8. Unfortunately we had a boring assembly today so me and Alfie walked as fast as we could until we reached the hall. We took our seat and waited for the boring thing to be over already. I zoned out for most of the assembly but one thing caught my attention.

"...big trip next week on Wednesday." Mr Banks stated
"So make sure to hand your permission slips into the front office by Thursday and no later, make sure you bring all your belongings when we go for the trip, no electronic gadgets except phones incase we need to contact, and we are also not responsible for any loss or damage to any items. You will be responsible to everything you bring. Assembly dismissed, row 1 stand up." He ended the assembly there and I just sat there until he called out our row. We were the last row so we left last. I guess it was fair since we were almost late.

We walked down the corridors to art, where I sat next to my best gal friend, Megan Valentine. Her last name was perfect for Valentine's Day! Anyway, since me and Megan were quite good at art we helped the others on our table. Here comes the register, best part. Sarcasm obviously.

"...Mason Palmer!" Mrs called out.
"Heeeeeeerrreeeee!" He said in a high pitched voice, ah, that's our Mason.
"Natalie Robinson!"
"Here..." I called out.
"Megan Valentine!"
"Hayyyereeeee" she shouted.
"Freddie Watts!"
"I'm aymm hereeeee!" He screamed like a banshee.
"Ellie White!"
"Here Mrs!" She shouted.
"Alfie young!"
"I am here Mrs!" He shouted.
