"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Alfie looked at me.
"What we attempted to do to Megan and Mason 4 years ago, when we had our first sleepover?" I smirked at him, of course I knew what he was thinking.
"Except that attempt failed." He added.
"Okay so we can goto the shop later and we can get what we need, the shops open till like midnight anyway" I said, I was just happy that I got to spend time with him.
"Good plan when shall we go?" He asked, I mean we practically live 10 minutes away from the shop.
"How about... 9pm? It's late but why not?" Alfie said, looking at his watch.
"It's 8:30 now, il quickly chuck clothes on then il meet you outside your house or you can go outside mine, well whoever gets dressed first." I explained, this will be fun.

Alfie jumped back to his house and I saw him walk to the wardrobe. I decided to go in my plain black leggings and my loose red top.

He was just stepping into my front garden, as soon as I opened the door. Great timing. We both got into his car, he can drive. Our journey to the shops was quiet, but it wasn't awkward. We were listening to the radio. Just as we were five minutes away, Ed Sheeran, Thinking Out Loud, started playing. My mind decided to go into a frenzy when the song came on. All thoughts were going through my head of all of mine and Alfie's conversations when we were kids.

***FlashBack***

Me and Alfie decided to play race today. We were going to do a running race, a sack race and an obstacle course, all in Alfie's garden. Mine and Alfie's gardens were quiet big so we loved them so much.

"Alfie wait!"I shouted as I was trying to catch up.
"But I wanna win the race I don't wanna loose to you!" He shouted back to me.
"But I wanna win too!" I tried running even faster.
"I'm not slowing down!" He turned round and shouted, while running backwards.

I got a tiny ache in my lungs, it made my legs not want to move. I couldn't catch m breath, I started to walk. Slower and slower.

"Nataweeeee you might wanna hurry up!" Alfie was still running.

Maybe I should just let him win. I sat down and tried to catch my breath. I collapsed to the ground and put my head in between my knees. It's really hurting.

"Natawee?" Alfie turned round and saw me sitting in the floor. He was also just about to finish at the finish line.

He stopped running and ran over to me. He tapped my shoulder.

"Natawee why aren't you running?" He asked, trying to lift my head up.
"I'm out of breath. I got a bit of a stitch. Go win the race" I told him.
"No." He replied, still trying to lift my head up.
"No?" I responded, i got the energy to look up, and I shot him a confused look.
"I can't win the race if Natawee is hurt!" He tried to pick me up but failed.
"Wait here." He signalled me to wait.

About a minute later he returned with a glass of lemonade, and an ice lolly.

"Maybe Natawee with feel better now?" He phrased like a question.
"Thank oo" I sat up and hugged my best friend to was right beside me.
"Remember if Natawee is hurt Alfie is here" He whispered to my ear.
***FlashbackOver***

"Natalie?" Alfie was looking straight at me.
"Natalie?" He repeated, I snapped out of my phase.
"Huh?" I replied, smiling at the memory.
"We're here!" He sounded like a little kid again.

We both got out the car and headed to the shop. We only needed fake cuts and fake blood. Oo, we have a lot in mind. Our plan is to tell them about a spooky legend 'game' where you go in twos into the dark in front of a mirror and chant "who is it you want, who is it you need, who is it you'll take" and the people the ghost chooses marks them with blood and cuts. Knowing them they will say that we're lying but when they see it, their faces will be priceless.
