Dylan
My mind was fuzzy, my vision blurred, I had never drank so much in my life. I promised Delilah not to. Yea, I'm a hell'a boyfriend. The moment I saw Brayleigh I knew I couldn't control my hormones. What the freak was wrong with me? I willed her to stop walking over, begged myself to stop looking at her, but I just couldn't and ended up pulling her down a stupid hallway into a damned room.
We were on the bed now, she was glaring, but I won't stop, she knew I was drunk but that just helps me reveal my true feelings for her. "I love you, do you know that? I adore every part of you and I know you don't but, I really---" I slur the words, like a lot. Holy fudge! And then she kisses me, she just kissed me, I don't move, but I could no longer control myself and I kiss her back. Hard.
I could have sworn to myself that I did not think of Del anymore and forgot her, and that's what made me pull away.
Suddenly, I heard footsteps approaching. Shit! I pushed her away. Her loser boyfriend must be coming. There were already so many things on my mind, like my father, this is the last thing I needed right now. Someone that will ruin my f*king moment.
Brayleigh
I had no idea what gotten into me. A moment I swore I was sober, and the next, I was drunk by his words. I knew I kind of liked him, but I swear I love Mark. Now I know I have little control and big hormones, and I'll end up kissing someone I'll regret meeting.
Just then, footsteps approached, I knew he heard because he pushed me away. I could still fill his kiss on my lips, desperate, demanding and possessive, he was jealous of me and Mark's relationship and I know it. "Dylan, sorry---" I start, but the door bursts open, Dylan's hands still trapping me underneath his body and I jerked his hand away and stood up as his eyes stares widely and warily at Mark. Emily was catching glimpses of the both of us, for a minute, I see her smirk but then she glares at Dylan.
"You," Mark pointed a threatening finger at Dylan. He looked at me, "Babe, tell me what happened."
"He was drunk, he k... kissed me. I'm sober!" The last word struck me, I was sober but I kissed him first. His expression is one I will never forget and he looks at Mark like they are enemies and pleads, "I swear this is just a one night stand, let her--"
Mark yells, "Shut up and leave!"
He turned to me, though he soften but he was still angry, "So you two kissed?" I shook my head then nodded, "It isn't what you think, please just let it go, he's drunk and needs someone to take him home, his father just got into an accident......"
After a while, he changed his mind, "Fine. I'll take him home and come back, you stay put we still have a dance to join." He winked and for a moment, I thought he wants to talk to me, but I already have one person who was dying to talk to me.
"Come one, you can't possibly tell me that's all, a D got drunk and you are a helpless soul?" Emily blurts as soon as Mark was out of sight.
"That is seriously what happened!" I felt guilt churning in my stomach and it burnt my throat. "Bore... ring......" She yawns. I shot daggers at her, "Okay fine, I kissed him first and I need to fix this somehow."
This time, it got her attention, "What the f---"
Suddenly, someone staggers over bumping into Ems and a cup of sparkling wine comes falling on her back and sizzles into her dress, "Damn it!" She cusses and I laugh.
"Come on let's go back to your house and get you changed, you wouldn't wanna be a sparkling girl tonight." She continued cursing at the person who spilled the drink. He didn't even stop to apologize and ran off after his stupid girlfriend.
"Dexter......" She growled. I looked at her curiously, "Who?"
"My ex, I dumped him because he cheated on me for that pig ass."
I laugh again, "Forget him, let's go." We hurriedly left, and I prayed that we could make it back here in time before the dance, I don't want to mess up me and Mark's relationship with him suspecting that I'm actually cheating on him. I'm not right?
Emily had been rummaging through her dress wardrobe for the past ten minutes, "Oh my goodness, I don't know what to wear!" I grumble, "Give it up girl, I'm going to die waiting here!"
Suddenly, I heard thudding downstairs and a familiar voice. Emily looks at me before speaking assuringly, "It's just my little sister and one of her friends, I guess." I continue walking towards the door ignoring Emily.
I hurried down the stairs and what I saw almost made me want to gorge out my eyeballs and throw it into the ocean. "Holy shit." I gasped. They looked up and I saw him properly. "Holy cow."
"What the---" I could have sworn I fainted, but no. Emily came up behind me and she gaped, "What the freak?"
Emily's little sister, Emma finally looks up and frowns as Carlo's face crumples, "What's happening?"
Now, he speaks, "I didn't want this to ruin our friendship......"
Emma's eyes widen and asks, "Friendship? This is what you consider friendship? After all this? I'm done! Done! Out of my house!" He whimpers, and frowns at me. He stands up and walked out of the door, dragging his footsteps behind him heavily, his heart was probably about to drop out of his chest.
Will she make it back in time for the dance? What just happened? Who is the he?
