Dylan
"Dare!" She said boldly. Damn, drunk Brayleigh just earned a kiss.
"Are you serious? I don't believe this pussy, guys!" Ava laughed hysterically, and her gang followed suit like lambs to the slaughter. F*king idiots! Emily's jaw dropped and Ava had a sly grin printed on her sick face. Bray nodded. NO YOU IDIOT, WHAT THE HELL?
"Alright......" I gave Ava a warning glare, but she shook it off. Heartless bitch, I knew it was a bad idea joining this damned game. If she was a dude, I'd be punching the crap out of her. "I dare you to kiss Rider!" She announced. Everyone's jaw dropped including Rider's. She shrugged, "What? He's eventually going to come back and f*k me. Not like I care!"
"Shut the shit up, Ava!" He growled. I felt relieved, surely none of them are going to do bullshit. I take back my words. Rider smirked and Bray asked, "Why not I bring Rider to his room for ten minutes instead?" Ava contemplated and mumbled, "Whatever, you can just admit to me that you're a pussy, you know? I mean obviously you don't want to say it to them, but you can tell me, we're like best friends." She made a sound and I wrinkled my nose in disgust. She stood abruptly, grabbed Rider's hand and they left.
I frowned, fume, rage, jealousy is going to engulf the shit out of me. I took a deep breath and sighed. I trust Bray.
Brayleigh
What was I thinking? I should have just turned the dare down, admit that I am a pussy. What the hell? This was surely the alcohol's doing, I mean what else? Hmm, maybe the fact that Ava is so damn infuriating and we are nothing close to friends! Enemies, yes enemies! Remind me, why am I playing this game again? Oh right! Because my 'best friend' is so fabulously infuriating, wow!
A voice interrupted my thoughts. "Brayleigh?" It repeated even louder this time, "Brayleigh!"
"Hmm?"
"Can you hear me?"
"Ye, what?" It took me a moment to grapple my attention on Rider, and only then did I realize he was talking to me. "I asked what do you wanna do here?"
"Dunno." I mumbled. "Oh." was all I got. After a while he apologizes, "Sorry about Ava."
"Oh it's nothing... I'm used to her being a complete jerk. By the way, are you like dating her?"
"The f*k? Hell no, why would you think so?"
"Just curious, I mean she did say she... you know..." I flushed and he chuckled, "Ye I did. I f*k ed her at the bar." He winked and I wrinkled my nose in disgust. "Okay..." His infamous smirk came back and he asked, "You were just being your soft self weren't you?"
"What?" I am so confused. "You know... not wanting to kiss me in front of Dylan because you didn't wanna hurt his damn feelings, I mean he is kind of sensitive when it comes to his girlfriend kissing other men."
"I'm not his girlfriend!" I bickered. "Then?" He argued back. "I... er... not sure... don't really know..."
"Thought so too." And that's when I caught sight if his lips. It was pale pink, just like Mark's. They even have those perfect curls, just like Mark's. It looked soft and plush, just like Mark's. I stared at them, and as I closed my eyes, I saw Mark.
His ruffled hair, soft and vibrant cheeks, dark, deep ice, so much secrets and emotions in them. I even felt his hand trace the arch of my neck, and then he leans in, promise on the tip of his lips, and the moment we kissed, it brought back a million memories, only to be shattered when the feel of his kiss was different.
"Oh shit!" I cussed. No, no, no. "That was not supposed to happen, I am so, so, so sorry!"
His eyes fluttered open and he moved his hands to his hair, and muttered a quick, "I'm going down." In a flash, he left. Okay......
I headed to a mirror and did a quick check in the mirror. When I headed down, I was horrified by the words that tumbled out of Rider's mouth and I stopped dead in my tracks. Oh no. Shit! Double shit!
