Brayleigh
I was shocked, how did he get her down? We have been here for the past fifteen minutes just staring at her, Rider still had the guts to joke about how Riley didn't have the guts to jump down the roof top. Their house was shaped like a box, so the roof was a flat surface, a dive and she would hit the ground in seconds.
Rider was staring at Dylan as he left. I glared at Rider and walked over to Riley. "Come on, we can talk it out together, alright?" She nodded her face got paler by the second. I walked her down to grab a glass of water. "Where's Dylan?" She asked out of the blue. "I'm not sure, I'll check if he's in the garage."
Before I left, she grabbed my hand and asked, "Can I come, too?" I nodded, "Sure."
Dylan was just sitting on his car, staring at the sea, he looked extremely hot from here and I felt like a creep staring at him this way. I walked over with Riley and we hopped on top of the car too. Each on his both sides. He smiled at us and said, "Hey."
"Hey." We said in unison. It was a moment of silence before Dylan broke it, "Why did you do that, Riley?" She started to tear. He placed a supportive hand around her shoulder. "Rider said... he said... I am going to be nothing like... nothing like Brayleigh." I gaped at the mention of my name. "What the?"
"Can we not talk about it?"
"Then I'll have to ask Mr Flint himself." She didn't reply. She blushed and headed back to her room, the shadows in her room showed her pulling the duvets over her head.
I tugged at Dylan's arm, "Come on, let's get back in to check on the rest." He nodded at me but his body showed the opposite. "What?" I asked. "Why did Riley say 'you' when she saw me?"
"How would I know?" I fired back. He moved his arms up in surrender, "Alright, alright, let's go." I giggled and shouted, "Race you back to the house, slow poke!" He shot me a devilish smile and I took the chance and ran head first to the door.
Before that, there were footsteps behind me, but all of a sudden, it stopped. I glanced behind me to find that Dylan was no where in sight. "Dylan?" I was about to come to a complete stop but ended up bumping into something hard... warm... a concrete wall? I turned to face a muscular chest laid out in front of me. I moved my hands to my mouth, "Oh my gosh, I'm so so—-" Wait, why am I apologizing? I crossed my arms and frowned. "You scared me!"
"Oh, did I?" He smirked.
"Ye dumb ass." His eyebrows furrowed, "You have three seconds to take that back, or else......"
"Or else what? Mummy is going to come save you and punch me up?" I mocked and burst out laughing. He didn't laugh along, instead he lifted up his finger and counted, "One... two......" I stared at him, and took off to the house, determined to win this 'race'. About a step away from the house, strong arms caught me by the waist.
For a moment nothing happened. I looked behind me into a set of deep blue eyes. I sighed. He took his chance, his fingers pounced into action and he tickled me and tackled me to the ground. "Dylan... p... please stop... I... the... floor is dirty, I'm dirty!" He laughed and with the swift move of his hands, picked me up bridal style and carried me back to the house. I struggled in his arms wanting to get back on my feet. "Let me down, Dylan. I have my own legs, I can walk."
"I know, but we're not done yet." He shook his head and finger. "Okay......" I drifted off when a red sports car pulled into the driveway. Who could it be?
"Well, well, well, who knew I'd meet none other than Miss Brayleigh Amelia Rose, in this very driveway." The person stepped out and a growl escaped Dylan's throat.
