Chapter 10
It's Monday, 3:00AM and we will be travelling to have a short semestral break vacation.
Mama crossed her arms.
"Saglit lang 'to ma.
Then she head out.
I heaved a deep sigh.
I scrolled at my Facebook feed.
Then I looked at my Facebook messenger and opened a conversation with him. Then I tapped his name on the top of the conversation. I scrolled down a bit and pressed a button until I came
Block Quinn Austin
I bit my lower lip. I told my mom that I will be quick. I need to do this.
I read the following details. This is the first time that I will block someone. I need to do it correctly.
Block on Messenger
•Quinn Austin will not be blocked on Facebook.
•You won't receive messages or calls from Quinn Austin. If you unblock, you won't receive anything that may have been sent during the block.
•You and Quinn Austin will be able to see, message and call each other in shared groups unless you leave them.
Block on Facebook
•You and Quinn Austin won't be friends on Facebook.
•Quinn Austin will also be blocked on Messenger.
I think it would be better to block him on Messenger instead of blocking him on Facebook. We will still need a little connection since we are classmates. Besides, he hasn't done anything wrong.
I tapped the Block on Messenger option.
Block Quinn Austin?
You will not be able to send messages to or call each other. The conversation will stay in the Chats unless you swipe to hide it.
Once again, I heaved a deep sigh while wishing myself the best luck. I crossed my fingers.
As soon as I heard our car's horn, I put on my backpack and turned off our Wi-Fi router.
My mom looks pissed. She's always like that.
"You said that you'll be quick.
I didn't answer her even if she asked. Well, typical Filipino mothers. I still love her, though.
"Wala na ba kayong nakalimutan?" My dad asked.
I checked my stuff last night to make sure that I won't forget anything.
