Zein had finally made it big in the world of fashion after years of studying in Paris. Her Dad supported her wholeheartedly. Now, Zein Antoinette had become an iconic brand for A-list fashionistas. Naging madali na para sa kanya ang magkaroon ng pangalan dahil sa kanyang talento.
And through the years, she's been inspired and loved by the only man in her heart.
"I'm so happy, honey..." malambing na sabi niya kay Echizen habang yakap siya niti mula sa kanyang likuran. Being im his arms, she felt contented.
Magkasama nilang pinapanood ang papalubog na araw mula sa veranda ng resthouse nito sa Tagaytay. Naramdaman niya ang masuyo nitong paghalik sa kanyang buhok.
"I feel the same, hon," sabi nito.
She smiled. "Looking back, I never thought that this moment would come... I mean the two of us and all of those high school scandals." Napabuntong-hininga siya kasabay ng pagkagalak na tapos na ang lahat ng iyon at ngayon ay nandoon siya kasama si Echizen. Nagkibit-balikat siya. "Some things in life are meant to happen. At least, nagkaroon ng twist ang high school life ko. I have something to tell to my future kids."
Echizen turned her around to face him. He looked at her dearly. "Our future kids."
Naitakip niya ang kanyang kamay sa kanyang bibig dahil sa pagkabigla. "So Echizen Keiden Clemente is planning to marry me?"
Bigla ay nasapo nito ang noo at saka napailing. "Dammit," bulong nito.
"Hey..."
"Tsk. Nalaman mo na tuloy. Paano ka pa masu-surprise nyan pag nag-propose na ako? I just ruined all of my wedding proposal plans."
Sa halip ay natatawang niyakap niya ito.
"It's magic, honey. I still lose my senses because of you. I guess the magic will never fade so I should get used to it," sabi nito.
"Yes."
"Yes? I should get used to losing my senses?"
"I'm saying 'Yes' to your unplanned wedding proposal. I'm really gonna marry you, honey."
"That's great..."
And so they kissed as the sun set in the horizon. They both knew that their life together would be a treasure of wonders.
