My trembling heart just won't calm down as Sinee and I went to where I will be reporting for work. I have never been this nervous before even I have a meeting with big investors I was always confident and this is the first time that I'm being like this.
Sinee's car parked in one of the biggest buildings in Siam Bangkok. I looked up to the whole building and I was even more nervous when I saw familiar models coming in and out of the building.
"You ready?" Sinee asked and I bravely nod my head.
This is it Metawin. It's now or never. Do or die.
I can't distinguish if this is really nervousness inside me or just pure excitement. The thought of seeing Bright after only two days excites me. Though we haven't had the chance to talk but at least I will be close to him. I will be able to supervise his every action and give him advices that would benefit him and... well also me.
I got rid of my ridiculous thoughts as Sinee and I walked towards the sliding glass door of the building. We were greeted by the receptionist and Sinee quickly talked to her.
"Good morning Miss Sinee."
"Good morning. I'm here with my friend to report for his first day--17th floor."
The receptionist gladly nod at us as she handed us two cards.
"You can use these cards for the lift. We will provide you access after a week and give you a permanent card for your access in the building." the receptionist informed me and we went on our way up.
I was quiet the whole time and maybe Sinee noticed that when she tapped my shoulder.
"Don't be too nervous Win. You'll do great." she winked at me but I can't even smile properly.
I heaved a sigh as I nodded.
"I just hope so Sinee. I-It's my first time being an employee and I don't know what to expect." I pouted and she laughed at me.
"The only difference is that you have to take orders from your superiors but rest assured you're one of the superiors as well because you're taking a managerial position here." she pouted as the door of the lift opened, telling us that we are in the right floor already.
We walked through the corridors and saw different rooms covered in glass as teams worked while facing their desktops while some are having a meeting in a room which I guess is one of the meeting rooms they have here.
"Here's the HR office. We have to report here first and they will tell you about your job description."
"How do you even managed to get me this job without me having an interview?" I asked and she giggled.
"They were ecstatic as soon as they read that you're the son of the chain of MCS and you handle the procurement department and you're also working as a PR manager in your mom's business as well. It's a good thing you didn't include having your own business or you're going to be over qualified for the job. " she happily said and laughed.
"Didn't they ask for an interview?"
"They're going to ask some questions later while they orient you but given your achievements, they won't ask much because your credentials says it all."
Sinee shamelessly knocked on the door as she pushed it open revealing an office where people are all sitted in a cubicle, facing their desktop while doing something.
A lady in his late 30's approached us as she smiled at Sinee.
"Good morning miss!" she cheerfully greeted as she came face to face with us.
