"Now...let's talk," Shane says softly. Threateningly.

"Okay," Leslie says. She smiles at him. Shane crosses his arms.

"Don't touch him," Shane says. He doesn't say anything else after that. She looks at him confused like she was waiting for him to say something else. But, he didn't.

"That's it?" She asks. Shane nods.

"Yes. Don't touch Ryan, and we won't have a problem." Shane says. Leslie chuckles.

"That's ridiculous." She says. Shane sighs and rolls his eyes. "I didn't know he was your property."

"He's not my property, but I do care about him," Shane says.

"Is he a brother?" She asks. Shane gives her an 'are you serious' look.

"No. Of course not." Shane replies.

"Is he a friend?"

"Yes."

"Is he your boyfriend?" Leslie asks. Shane's face goes red at the word. He stares deep in her eyes, wondering if she's joking. Shane doesn't know all the LGBTQ+ rights that 1912 had, but he doesn't think it was serious. "You like him, don't you?" Leslie says. She gives Shane a glare.

"What!? No! Of course not! He's just a friend." Shane says. Leslie scoffs and gives Shane a disgusted look.

"God, help you." She says very rudely.

"Excuse me?" Shane asks, making sure he heard her right.

"Homosexuality is a disease," Leslie says, clearly very upset. "I pray to God that you'll get cured one day because, for heaven's sake, you are one beautiful human being. You're too beautiful to suffer like that, Mr. Madej." Leslie holds her hands together and smirks at Shane. She then stands up.

"I could also always...change your mind." She says. She starts to sit on his lap, but Shane shoves her off with so much force that she falls back on the floor. Shane scoffs in disgust and walks away from her. She can still see him, and he can still see her.

"I'm no expert in English, but notice how the word 'homosexuality' ends with 'ality' just like 'reality' and 'actuality' and also 'personality'. I don't know what the suffix 'ality' actually means but I'm guessing it has something with a way of life or a way of living. Now, notice how the word 'homophobia' ends with 'phobia', which is an anxiety "disorder" characterized by EXTEREME or IRRATIONAL fear of SIMPLE things or social situations. I'm totally fine. You are the one who needs help." Shane finishes. He returns the glare to her. Leslie is speechless.

"Question is...if men marry men and if women marry women...who will produce children?" Leslie asks, standing up, trying to defend herself.

"Oh my God. It's not like Heterosexual people will vanish, or stop existing." Shane snaps. She growls at him. Police run into the door. The policemen aimed their guns at the girl. Ryan came into the room, smiling. He noticed Shane and walked over to him. Ryan stood next to Shane as the policemen took Leslie and cuffed her. They took her by the shoulders and walked her out of the house.

Once she was in the car, she smiled at Ryan seductively and winked at him as they drove her away. Shane growls as she drives away. Ryan scoffs and rolls his eyes. He turns to one of the policemen and they start to question him. He answers their questions as reasonable as possible without blowing their cover. Shane looks at the road after Leslie. He ignores Ryan's conversation with the officer.

Once the officer and Ryan are done, they bid their farewells and Ryan stands next to Shane. It's dark outside and chilly. The sky is clear and the stars shine with the moon onto the green grass. Luckily no blood was spilled today and everyone's okay.

"What's wrong?" Ryan asked? Shane was snapped out of his trance and turned to look at Ryan. Ryan looked at Shane in his eyes and was stunned. His face was full of beautiful features. The moon lit up Shane's face and Ryan was a little speechless. He couldn't help but stare at Shane. Everything about Shane was perfect. His hair, face, and body. Even though Ryan made fun of Shane for being about a foot taller than him and for having a pretty large head, Ryan loved it.

"Nothing," Shane said. His voice rung in Ryan's ears. It was like music. "I just don't like the way she treated you," Shane says looking back at the road.

"I don't like the way she looked at me." Ryan laughed looking at the road too. Ryan's hand brushed against Shane's and he couldn't help but blush.

"Alright," Ryan said. "Let's go back. I bet when we wake up we'll arrive home." Shane looks at him and smiles. He nods and walks to the hotel. Ryan following him.

The boys arrive and quickly go to sleep. Ryan looks at Shane before both of them fall asleep.

"Did you hear that? When we left this morning?" Ryan asks. Shane grumbles.

"Hear what, Ryan?" Shane asks, half asleep.

"I hear someone tell me something. Like...tell him or kill him or something like that. Any idea what it means?" Ryan asks. Shane shudders, knowing who was telling Ryan that and what he was telling him.

"No," Shane says. Ryan grumbles and turns away from Shane.

"Are you sure? Don't use the 'I don't believe in ghosts' thing, Shane. Be honest with me." Ryan demands. Shane sighs.

"No, Ryan. I didn't hear anything. And if I did, I wouldn't have used that line." Shane says.

Ryan brushes Shane's words off and falls asleep. He doesn't hear anyone say anything. But he does get the slight feeling he's being watched. It doesn't matter though, as he falls fast asleep quickly, waiting to go home tomorrow.
