Ryan walked to the place where he last saw Shane. Nothing. There was no one there.
"Might wanna go and look in the hotel room." Ryan heard Sallie say. He looked behind him and saw her. But other people were walking through her. She vanished and paid no attention to the people around her.
Ryan went to the hotel. He knocked on the door. He realized he didn't need to do that, as he had the key to get in. So, he opened the door and walked in, seeing Shane staring out the window. He's sitting, and staring outside and at the people. His legs are pulled into his chest.
"Shane," Ryan said. He saw Shane's face in the reflection of the window. He didn't move. "Shane, I'm sorry." Ryan pleaded. Shane didn't move. He stared down at the people, pondering.
"Look, Shane," Ryan started to take very dramatic and slow steps toward his friend. "I'm so sorry. I know that I hurt you and that was rude. I should've accepted your secret for whatever you are. I don't care if you're Satan himself, Shane. You are an amazing person, and if you ever stop being my friend...I'd like...do anything for you. I'd do anything for you either way, but you get it." Ryan says. Shane doesn't turn to face him.
"Do you not care about me having feelings for you?" Shane asks. Ryan stops moving. He's a few feet away from Shane.
"Yes and no," Ryan says. "I care that it matters to you. And if we're being honest, I have to tell you the truth too." Shane doesn't turn to Ryan, but he looks at the floor.
"What?" Shane mumbles.
"That it shouldn't bother me, but it does. That I shouldn't care about you, but I do. I hate you, Shane." Ryan chuckled, not really meaning it. Shane turned to face his friend. All his demonic features were shown, but it didn't scare Ryan.
"You hate me?" Shane mumbled, tears threatening to stream down his face quicker than a waterfall.
"NO! No, of course not," Ryan quickly says. "I don't hate you, hate you, it's just I hate that I...love you too," Ryan says. Shane is shocked to hear those words, but he loves hearing it. Finally.
"What?" Shane asks, facing Ryan with a little joy in his voice. He stood up, legs almost giving out.
"I love you too, Shane," Ryan says, defeat in his voice. "I love you in ways you've never been loved, for reasons you've never been told, for longer than you think you deserve and with more than you will ever know existed inside me," Ryan says. Shane feels like a thousand fireworks went off in his heart. Ryan's face widened in a smile when he saw Shane smirk.
"You love me?" Shane asks, wondering if Ryan is telling the truth. Ryan walked up to Shane and stood in front of him. Shane was much taller than Ryan, but having to look up at Shane made Ryan happy. He doesn't know exactly why, but it did, seeing Shane's face this close and him smiling so happy.
"Of course I do. After all this time, I still love you, Shane. It's always been you. It was you yesterday, it was you today and it'll be you tomorrow. I love you, Shane." Ryan says. Shane smiles. Ryan places his lips on Shane's and smiles. Shane feels the edges of Ryan's lips curve, forming his smile.
Shane places his right hand on Ryan's waist, and then his left hand was placed on Ryan's cheek. Ryan tangled his left hand into Shane's hair and his right hand was on his shoulder, pulling him in. Shane walked Ryan over to his bed. Ryan laid down and Shane climbed over him. Ryan chuckled as he softly pulled Shane's shirt off.
"We need to leave," Sallie whispered to GM. They both had their arms crossed, stood near the door, and made sure that both Shane and Ryan couldn't see them.
"Yes. Let's go. Let them have their fun." GM says. He softly pushes Sallie out of the room, him following.
