Some of you asked a story about Ri Jeong Hyeok taking care of his pregnant wife. So, here we go~~

Yoon Se Ri smelled them from the ned of the hall and everything went sideways. She swore she stumbled a bit as things started to spin. She caught herself on the wall and just breathed.

She knew that scent intimately, knew what that scent meant.

Roses for date night.

She wanted to cry. She can feel the ball in her throat and cursed her hormones for the seven millionth time.

"Seriously, Butterflake." She said, rubbing circles on her stomach. It was a habit she picked up, talking to the baby like she can hear – and she can, according to Ri Jeong Hyeok and Dr. Roth. "Butterflake, you do hate the smell of carnation that much?" She whined.

The sensitivity has been driving her crazy for months. The scent of chocolate sent her running for a bathroom. A few weeks ago, one of the shareholders had walked past her and his cologne sent her to her knees. She couldn't look at cheese without her stomach rolling.

There are moments when she hated being pregnant. She was always a sensitive person, but with being pregnant, her sensitivity rate rose to 100%. That night was one of the days where she wished she had an easier pregnancy.

She liked Date night. She loved it. She came to the value this time that they both made a real effort to set aside. And it's been a while since they had one. So as much as her stomach rolled, she can feel the disappointment threading through her nausea.

Butterflake didn't even seem to be even considering allowing her parents to have a date night. Se Ri took a deep breath and closed her eyes tightly.

"Ri Jeong Hyeok-ssi." She called him out

"I am in the kitchen, my love."

"Can you come here, please?" She pled.

Worried, he walked fast toward the hall.

"Is something wrong?" He asked. He noticed her leaning her body towards the wall and closed her eyes.

She sighed. "Did you get roses?"

There was silence for a moment and she knew it was meant to be a surprise. "I figured since neither of us has plans—"

"No. No, Ri Jeong Hyeok-ssi. It's good. It just that—" she swallows. "Butterflake doesn't like roses."

She hated it. Like really hated it. They had a system. Date night always includes roses. Sometimes one, sometimes a dozen, as a reminder how much he valued her.

"Ah."

He sounded surprisingly relieved and a smile curved her mouth despite herself. Despite the disappointment. She loved those roses. She loved that Ri Jeong Hyeok was a ridiculously romantic husband who takes date night as a tradition very seriously.

"Could you.."

"I'll get rid of it." He said immediately. "I'll take it to Mrs. Vogel next door, I am sure she'll love it."
She sighed. She didn't like it at all. She hated it.

"Ri Jeong Hyeok-ssi."

"Hmm?"

"Can you keep one?" She felt the ball of tears climbing her throat with a vulnerability that threaded through her voice. Damn hormones, ruining her roses, and a quality date night.

"Se Ri-ya."

She was sobbing. Totally out of control.

"Se Ri-ya. It's okay. What's the matter?" He tried to hug her, only to get shoved by her hands.

"No, I—" She opened her mouth to tell him how irrational she was. Crying was never really her thing. But she can't seem to settle herself long enough to get a word out, let alone a sentence.

She was so frustrated.

He tried to hug her once more.

"Honey, come on. It's just roses."
