Alcohol

Saglit lang kagabi si Tito Abel sa bahay. He just showed me my updated portfolio and reminded me of my schedule for today. I have two shoots today. One for a fashion magazine and one with a clothing company. I also have an interview with the magazine kaya busy talaga ako the whole day.

The agency received an offer from Calvin Klein for me. They want my portfolio after they saw my pictures with Plum. Noong isang araw lang lumabas ang commercial video ko at ang pictures ko kasama ang products ng Plum. I gained more attention because Plum is an international makeup brand. Now, I'm excited to work with Calvin Klein. I feel like I'm slowly reaching my dreams.

I woke up early for my photoshoot. Simple lang ang ayos ko dahil bibihisan at lalagyan din naman ako ng makeup mamaya.

"Mabuti at nandito ka na!" Bulalas ni Tito Abel at hinatak ako palapit sa isa sa mga designers ng clothing company. Nagulat pa ako nang humarap siya dahil naging kaklase ko siya noong huling taon ko sa high school.

"OMG! It's been a long time!" she greeted at nagbeso kami. She's Martha, I didn't know she would become a fashion designer! Noon kasi ay sabi niya gusto niyang maging doctor, hindi ko lang alam ano nagpabago sa isip niya.

"Yeah. Wow! You're a fashion designer!" Tumawa siya at hinampas ako.

"And you're a model!" Pinasadahan ako ng tingin. "You're so beautiful! I was so happy when I found out that the company offered you a contract with us! Kaya nga nandito ako para makita kita."

"Oh! Thank you, you're beautiful, too, and have matured now." I pouted my lips. "I guess you met my Manager already?" Tanong ko at sumulyap kay Tito Abel na kakatapos lang kausapin ang staff. Nginitian ni Tito Abel si Martha.

"Yeah! Kausap ko nga siya kanina!"

"Kinwentuhan niya ko ng mga kalokohan mo noon," naiiling na sabi ni Tito Abel at bumaling sa akin. "I'm sorry to interrupt your catch up, but Chant, you have to prepare now." Tumango ako at ngumiti kay Martha.

"Manonood ka ba ng shoot?" Tanong ko.

She shook her head and made a sad face. "No, I have to go to the company. I'm just here to see you."

"Oh! I missed you! I'm happy to see you again."

"Me, too. I missed you! Good luck with your photoshoot!" Nagbeso kami at nagyakapan bago kami pumasok ni Tito Abel sa dressing room.

Inayusan na ako ng glam team para sa photoshoot. Mabilis lang dahil light lang naman ang makeup ko. The clothes I'll be modeling are the company's summer collection. Unang damit na pinasuot sakin ay ternong floral sleeveless crop top at mini skirt. They partnered my outfit with white sneakers.

"Beautiful! Now flaunt your perfect hips!" I laughed before doing what the photographer asked me to do. Pagkatapos ng ilang shots ay nagpalit na ko ng damit at inayos din ang hair and makeup ko. Ilang beses pa ko nagpalit ng iba't-ibang damit bago kami umalis para sa susunod na photoshoot. Habang nasa sasakyan ay kumain na kami ng lunch. Tito Abel is driving my car while I'm eating my veggie salad, wala na rin kaming oras para magdine-in. May mga ganito talagang araw na sunod-sunod ang photoshoots o di kaya'y fashion show. It's exhausting but I love my job.

"I really think you should get your personal driver now and a van!" wika ni Tito Abel.

I closed the lid of the tupperware and turned to him. Matagal niya na akong kinukulit about that pero ngayon ko lang napag-isipan. Ayaw ko kasi ang van dahil pakiramdam ko masiyadong agaw-pansin sa daan.

"Okay, but I want a customized van."

I think kailangan ko na iyon dahil nagiging busy na ako. Madalas ay sa sasakyan na ko nag-aayos ngayon at nahihirapan sila dahil hindi spacious ang bmw ko. They were happy with my decision at si Tito Abel ay maghahanap na daw ng car company na gagawa ng gusto kong customized van.
