Love You Forever

The chill air only made Taehyung's nose redder as they tried to cover it again with their scarf. Yoongi was already at the library waiting for them, but Taehyung wanted to be sure to bring some snacks. Yoongi had been progressing slowly but surely, now eating more than he's ever been and gaining some weight while he's at it.

Taehyung walked briskly, already stressed that they weren't going to have enough time to study before their final. Yes, finals. Finals week was always a stressful time for any college student, but with missing a bunch of classes due to the incident earlier in the semester, Taehyung was feeling even more unprepared.

Yoongi thought meeting up in the library to study would give Taehyung the quiet space they needed to get work done. Taehyung always tried to tell Yoongi how much they appreciated him. They just hoped the message got across.

Taehyung finally reached the library with their backpack and a bag full of snacks. After entering the library, Taehyung went up to the study room number Yoongi had texted them before.

"There you are!"

Yoongi looked up from his computer, noticing the pink dusting on Taehyung's cheeks and nose. Yoongi got up from his chair and walked over to his partner.

"You look cold! Need a hug?"

Taehyung smiled, taking off their jacket and laying it on the chair next to Yoongi's. They stood there with arms open wide.

"I'd love that."

Yoongi fell into Taehyung's embrace, letting Yoongi warm them up from the harsh cold of the winter. After a couple seconds, they both let go partially before Yoongi placed a small kiss on Taehyung's lips, Taehyung wishing it would have lasted a bit longer.

Taehyung held onto Yoongi's hands, giving him an eskimo kiss before leaving to sit in the chair next to their boyfriend. Yoongi followed suit, moving his chair slightly closer to Taehyung while the other got out their laptop and set up their supplies to study for the upcoming finals.

"Jimin and Jungkook are coming right?" Yoongi continued to look at his computer as he asked.

"I invited them to study with us. Jimin said they probably would join us, so I'm going to take that as a yes. What about Jin and Namjoon?"

"Namjoon is stressing about his finals as usual, trying to keep that 4.0, you know? But Jin said he'd drag him here if he had to."

Both of them laughed at that, knowing that Jin would probably do it if need be. After the laughter faded, Yoongi kept moving in his chair slightly, as if he was uncomfortable. After about twenty minutes of this continuing, Taehyung decided to speak up.

"Yoongi, is everything okay? You seem like something's bothering you."

"Oh, it's nothing."

Taehyung could spot that fake smile anywhere. Before they could question him about it, Yoongi took a deep breath before speaking.

"T-Tae?"

"Yeah? What's up?"

"Did you ... umm ... Did you want to ... maybe ..."

Taehyung stopped what they were doing and turned to the older man, holding his hands in theirs.

"You don't have to be nervous. I'm here."

Yoongi smiled and took another deep breath to relax. After a couple seconds, Yoongi tried again.

"Did you want to ... stay here over break?"

Taehyung was shocked, not sure what to say. They were speechless, causing Yoongi to backtrack.

"I mean, never mind. It was stupid of me to ask. You probably miss your family and want to see them. You know what? You should go see them. I bet they miss you just as much as you miss them. Yeah, just forget I asked."
