You Want Me To Do What?

Stop!!  Oh my God stop tickling me!!"

I yelled between laughs. He grinned at me and pulled me onto his lap and kissed me. I smiled behind the kiss and straddled him to make it less awkward.

"I love you"

"I love you too Kyla....now stop talking"

I smirked as he crashed his lips to mine and started unbuttoning my shirt.  He laid me back and trailed kisses down my neck and along my collarbone while removing my shorts. There was an announcement that I was needed in Paul's office. I groaned in annoyance at the bad timing for this meeting

"It can wait" Joe smiled as he went back to kissing my neck

I collected my clothes strewn about the room and got dressed. I quickly gave him a quick kiss and made my way out to Paul's office. I politely knocked and walked in

"Hey Kyla have a seat."

I went to sit and noticed Jon was in here as well. I looked around expecting the rest of them to come in. He looked over at me and smiled and shrugged his shoulders. I took the chair next to him and waited to hear what this was about.

"Alright so Jon, you are aware that we're going to be splitting the three of you in separate directions"

He nodded. I was shocked. This was the first that I was hearing of this and then I started wondering why I was here when this clearly had to do with the guys. I looked over at Jon and he smiled...obviously he knew

"So what this means Kyla is you're going to be added to a story line..."

Oh good...I finally get to work with Joe just by himself!! I was tuning out most of what I was being told until the very end

"So we're going to have you be Jon's girlfriend..."

"Huh?!  Wait...Joe is my boyfriend though.  Jon is like a best friend/brother to me. That's going to be so awkward."

"I know you'll find a way to work it out. We're all adults here. Unless you don't want the extra push and I can give it to another diva in the back"

I could see him out of the corner of my eye slightly shaking his head no. He was basically telling me that I needed to just take the opportunity.

"No it's fine. I'll figure it out."

"Thanks guys"

I got up from my chair and started walking quickly towards the door. I needed to get back to Joe and try to figure out how to tell him this one. Jon came up behind me and gently touched my arm

"What Jon?"

"It's going to be OK Kyla. This isn't going to ruin anything between you and Joe. This is just business. We're together in front of the cameras. Anything beyond that doesn't exist...right?"

I nodded "I'm just afraid of how he's going to react"

"It's me...it's not Graves or Phil or something. Want me to come with you to tell him?"

"Yes"

We made our way to his locker room. We walked in and I threw my arms around him and kissed his cheek

"You know I love you right?"

"Yeah...why?"

I looked back at Jon and he gave a slight nod

"SO....uh...that meeting with Paul....um....I have been put in a new story line....I'm....uh....I'm supposed to be Jon's girlfriend."

"I see. So did you bring him in here with you to rub it in or something?"

Jon: "No I offered because she's uncomfortable with all of it and is afraid of your reaction and what it'll do to your relationship.  It's just a story line Joe. Off camera nothing changes. We just have to pretend while on camera...that's all"

"It's fine. Just make sure she doesn't get hurt"

He nodded and pat my shoulder and walked out of the door. Joe took my hand a pulled me to him. He wrapped his arms around me and held me tight. I laid my head on his chest, smiled and sighed.

"I love you Kyla...I promise nothing changes.  I have something for you."

He pulled me back, took my hand and sat me down on the couch. He went over to his bag and came back with a small box. He handed it to me and smiled.  I opened it and found a lock and key necklace. I looked up and smiled.  It was the first time that someone had bought me a meaningful gift like this.

"Thank you. I love you."

"So the heart is for you to wear. The key is for me to wear."

I took the necklace out of the box and handed it to him and held up my hair for him to put it on. I was so excited. I LOVED it. It meant so much to me. He put on his and smiled at me. I threw myself at him and wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him.

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I love you so much. This is awesome."

He laughed a little "You're welcome. You act like no one has given you a gift before"

I blushed and looked down "You're the first"

"Seriously?"

"Yes. It's so awesome. I'm so excited."

"You deserve it Kyla. I love you."

"I love you too"

He got up from the couch and grabbed his gear to go get ready for his match tonight. I ran over and kissed him and went to the ladies locker room to change for the show. I put on my gear and put on my make up for the night. I curled and teased my hair and met up with the guys in the hallway. I took a deep breath and prayed that I got this right. They hugged me and Joe kissed my cheek to avoid ruining my make up.

"I love you. I'll see you down there. Please be careful...it's a little different this time."

"I love you too. I will be very careful I promise....trust me will ya"

He held my hand and smiled and headed towards the concourse area. I made my way towards catering to wait for my call to the gorilla. I stretched and paced a bit. I was nervous this time. One wrong move on my part could screw up the way the audience interprets the break up. I got my call and made my way to the gorilla. I could hear the match going on and I watched it on the little screen. I held tight to the necklace that Joe gave me and watched as things started to fall apart in the ring. Jon got the pin and an argument ensued between Jon and Joe. They started going at it and Colby joined in. He started fighting back but Colby and Jon got the upper hand again and that was my queue to run down and stop it and then turn on Joe. I slid under the bottom rope and stood between the two of them and Joe in the corner. They backed off and I turned to him and gave him a sympathetic look. He kissed my cheek and pulled me in for a hug and hit him with a low blow and sent the other two on him. I laughed at the mess and then in runs The Uso's. I exit the ring and stand on the outside as Jon and Colby make their way out of the ring. Jon takes my hand, kisses my cheek and then puts his arm around me as we go back up the ramp.
