Inevitable Part 2

It's been an hour since they have been lying on his bed.. after he couldn't get her to stop crying he picked her up from their spot on the sofa, laid her on their bed, pulled the duvet over them. He held her while she cried herself to sleep. He kept running his hands through his hair trying to think hard to get out of this situation. But he knew there was no way out and it would not be good for her career as well. Of all the things he worried about, her career was his top priority. He knew she would throw it all in a blink of an eye if she thinks it is coming between them. And he did not like the thought of that at all. He can not let her ruin her career for him. Especially for him. She has worked hard to get where she is.

He was pacing along the bed when he heard a knock on the bedroom door. He swiftly moved to open the door looking back and making sure it didn't wake Shehnaz.

It was his mom, calling them for breakfast.

"Kya hua , aaye nahi abhi tak breakfast pe tum log. Sana ko bhuk nahi lagi abhi tak? Ya kal fir der raat nikal gaye the snacks khane?? "

She asked with a knowing smile.

He gestured her to move out of the doorway and pulled the door closed gently behind them.

" Mushkil se soyi hai abhi wo. Uth to gaye the jaldi but.."

He rubbed his hands over his face looking up exasperated.

"Kya hua bacche.. tabiyat thik hai uski? Bahot kaam karte ho tum log. Kitni baar bola hai time pe ghar wapas aao. Time pe khana khao but tum log ho ke mante hi nahi... Hatt ja dekhne de kya hua hai .. mene uske favourite parathe banwaye hai.. khake fir so jana dono, aaj kahi jane ki jaroorat nahi hai. Sunday hai waise bhi.."

She started moving towards the door but Sid pulled her away again and explained what has happened.

His mom gave a sad smile and said

"it's ok bachha... 1 mahine ki to baat hai .. You are strong. She is strong. You just need to make sure she knows that too. Hai na?? "

She patted his cheeks, he held her hand on his cheeks for a bit and gave her a bear hug. She got to see this affectionate side of Sidharth more often these days. And she knew she has Sana to thank this for. She patted his back smiling at him.

"Sidharth??"

He heard a frantic call from bedroom and rushed inside. He saw Sana seating on the bed, her hair disheveled looking frantically for sidharth.

"Yahi hun , yahi hun moti. Uth gayi tu? Chal jaldi chal dekh maa ne tere liye specially tere pasand k paranthe banwaye hai.. mujhe bhi bahot bhuk lag rahi hai "

He went near the bed caressing her cheek and hair with both hands. She cupped his hand on her cheek and kissed it... He was slightly relieved to see her not crying anymore. He helped her get up from the bed. She went to washroom splashed some water on her face and came back inside the room. His heart broke at the sight of her looking so grim. She threw the hand towel on the bed and her eyes fell on her phone on the bedside table. She went towards it picking it up to call her manager, when Sid snatched it from her hands.

" Chal na yaar moti, pahle breakfast karte hai. Bahot bhuk lagi hai. "

"Mujhe nahi khana Sidharth ja tu kha ke aa .. mera phone de de mujhe manager se baat karni hai."

"Nahi bola na .. chup chap chal aur khana kha le pahle.. nahi khana ka kya matlab? "

"Nahi khana matlab nahi khana Sidharth, tere samajh nai aa rahi?"

She threw him an angry look..

" Thik hai mein mom ko bol deta hun tuze nahi khana. Fir mat bolna mene chugli ki unse teri. kyu nahi khana unko samjha dena fir."

He knew she would never say no to his mom. And she knew it too.

She threw him another angry look.

"arre khayegi nahi to shakti kaise aayegi manager pe chillane ki.. chal aaja aaja.."

He kept her phone quickly in his short's pockets and hooked his hand on her shoulder pulling her outside room.

They sat on the dining table and he pushed her plate towards her.. "Chal finish kar fatafat..."

She sat there picking her food every now and then but he could see she was hardly eating anything. He picked up a bite from his plate and brought it to her lips.. she took the bite and gave him a weak smile. "Chill kar moti... aur khana kha dhang se.. warna mein tuze moti kaise bula paunga..?? hai na?"

he gave her, her favorite cheeky smile ..

"Koi moti woti nahi hai wo Sid, chidhaa mat fir se usko", Sid's mom came out and gave a side hug to Sana and sat on the opposite chair..

She could sense the sour mood on Sana's face.

"To aaj ka kya plan hai tum log ka? kaha ja rahe ho aaj fir se?"

Mom tried to change the subject ..

"Mujhe nai kahi janaa.. "

Sana started crying again like a kid she is... looking at Sid's mom and then him with her puppy face ..

"meko nahi jana Sidharth.. meko sachhi nahi jana kahi.."

Sid's mom got up from her chair and went to Sana's side holding her against her chest.

"Arre arre mera bachha... ek mahine ki to baat hai beta.. ab kaam to kaam hai na.. yun nikal jayega ek mahina tumhe pata bhi nahi chalega.. itne shows lined up hai tumhare waha.. tumhe time ka pata bhi nahi chalega.. "

Sana was looking up at her face and continuously nodding her head sideways gesturing a no ...

Her phone started ringing and Sidharth took it out of his pocket. It was her manager. He answered the call and said Sana will call you back in few mins and cut it without waiting for any response. He took Sana's hand and said "Chal.. Mom hum log aate hai thodi der mein.. lunch shayad bahar hi karenge aap wait mat karna"..

They drove in silence. He took her to their favorite spot. He sat under the lone tree making her sit between his folded legs cocooning her. Her back to him she rested against his chest leaning her head on his shoulder. He gave her a quick peck on the temple and handed her the phone..

"Video Call laga manager ko..lets hear him out.. "
