Sidharth cut the call promising Shehnaaz to speak with her soon and was scrolling through his notifications when he saw Shehbaaz's message asking him to call when he was free.. he never did that, so Sid got curious and called him back..

"Shehbaaz? Tera msg abhi late dekha.. bol"

"Haan bhai kuchh ni wo ho gaya kaam.."

"Sab thik? Aise kya baat kar raha hai"

"arre koi ni .. meine wo aise hi bola tha.. chill hai.. "

"arre? puri baat bataa.. kyu call karne ko bola tune?."

"arre sach mein aiwehi.. Meine hiii bolna tha bas.. " his voice trailed out..

"kya ho yaar tum bhai behen sach mein.." he was about to cut the call when he heard Shehnaaz in the background..

"Shehbaaz kisse baat kar raha hai tu?? "

"friend se.. tu khana order kar mein aaya.. "

"abbe sale jhuuth kyun bol raha hai usse? Kya chal kya raha hai tera?? " Sidharth asked confused hearing him lie to her..

"arre bhai wo mere pe chillati aapse baat kar raha hun bolta to.. "

"kyun?"

"kyun ki usne manaa kiya tha.."

"kya bak raha hai .. kyu manaa kiya? Sab clear aur Jaldi bata mere pass time nahi hai abhi.. " Sidharth warned him..

"arre sach mein abhi kuchh ni hai.. apki hui na baat Shehnaaz se abhi adhe ghanta pehle. To ho gaya kaam bas.. "

"tu abhi sidhe sidhe batayega ke mein Shehnaaz ko bata du tune mujhe call kiya tha..?"

"arre wo bas apse baat nai na ho rahi thi shayad uski.. to udas udas thi 2-3 din se.. itni achhi jagah aaye hai... ghumne bhi pehle aayi ek do din.. abhi bas pura pura time apne room mein phone leke social media dekhte baithti hai, aur udas rehti hai.. aap ko to pata hai na kaisi hai wo.. to meine apko call karke bas wahi bolna tha ke aap please usse time nikal ke thoda baat kar lo.. isliye.. but abhi aap ne kar li shayad baat na.. thoda thik lag ri hai.. to bas wahi..

Sidharth felt so bad hearing this.. he imagined Sana sitting in the hotel room alone going through all the drama going over social media.. and he remembered few of their last conversations and the way he spoke to her.. he remembered how he had felt when he was seeing her pics on social media with Guru and couldn't speak to her.. and he felt so guilty of doing the same with her.. she was right, he could have figured out a way to get 10-15 mins out to call her everyday.. but the time zone difference and the crazy schedule did make him lose track of times.. it was no excuse whatsoever and he knew it well, he just murmured a thanks to Shehbaaz for letting him know..

"ni ni thanks ki kya baat hai.. mujhe bhi pata hai aap busy hi honge.. but wo bachhe jaisi hai, hai na.. ruth bhi jaati hai chhoti chhoti baat se.. par ek baar pyar se bol do to maan bhi jati hai jaldi jaldi na? to 2 min call kar liya karo yaar bich bich mein .. itna bhi kya.."

"haan yaar ho gaya wo.. kuchh jyada hi busy chal raha hai schedule.. 2 din ki baat hai aur.. but thik hai chal.. mein baat kar lunga firse usse.. but usne manaa kyu kiya tuze mujhse baat karne se waise? "
